It was a monday night buffet, good selection, some of the entrees were a little bit dry, eg onion baja and samosa. Otherwise great value if your hungry
meal was great, we always enjoy the food never lets us down
Very nice food and people, will be going back there for sure!
It doesn’t matter if you’re a curry amateur or an Indian-food aficionado, you’ll find yourself impressed by the dishes on offer at Baxter’s Indian Mahal Restaurant on Frankston-Flinders Road. With a humble front entrance, guests are often surprised by how chic and sophisticated the restaurant’s interior dining area is. Sit back, relax and let your friendly server answer any questions you might have – at Indian Mahal Restaurant the guest is number one.
Indian Mahal Restaurant’s menu of South Asian specialties is as about as extensive as you can get. For first timers to this fine Melbourne restaurant, we highly recommend trying out some of the barbecue tandoori specials like the vegetarian tandoori mushrooms, garlic chicken kebab or pork tikka cooked with spices, tomato and onion. Spice lovers are crazy for the goat mahal spicy curry, a dish consisting of boneless pieces of goat cooked in a velvety coconut and tomato sauce. The desserts on offer at Baxter’s Indian Mahal Restaurant are also excellent – try the pistachio kulfi for a sweet finish.
