Great food and dining experience! Even better than their sister store at Portside!
Savories were great, can't say the same for the desserts. But will be back for the entress & mains.
Delicious fresh friendly authentic - we enjoyed arancini - gnocchi - pizza - fish of the day!
A little less happy with my pasta than usual I prefer Italian to be more traditional
Gnocchi was pretty good, but the pizza was really soggy which spoiled what could have been quite nice. Also the staff member serving us guessed at what some of the ingredients were and didn’t bother to check if her guesses were right - same with her advice as to what seafood is on the “seafood pizza”. With a little effort and a non-soggy pizza it could have been much better. Lastly, a pet peeve of mine. If the wine year doesn’t match up with what’s on the wine list - remove the year from the wine list. Otherwise you’re just setting people up to be disappointed.
Food was reasonable and the service good. However I was expecting that the ragu sauce for my pasta would be beef rather than bolognese. The wine waiter was a bit pushy trying to sell us another bottle or glass even though we had finished our meal.
Dinner was great! Service was superb, kitchen was slow especially as it was very quiet but.overall good
I am satisfied with pretty much everything. But the pizza was not as delicious as I had for the first time although I ordered the same one. We ordered a salad, a pasta, and a pizza. All were served at the same time. This was not good for us. But again, I enjoyed not only dishes but also other parts like the friendliness of the staff.
Really loved the food. The wait was a bit long
Dinner was delicious and service was great! Will come again.
Lovely little spot, hidden in the back of Tenerrife. Well presented and tasty food, Gnocchi and Ravioli were top quality and the Pannacotta was also delicious.
Very nice service, excellent food, great setting - If you're looking for an affordable yet classy option I would highly recommend this as a lunch destination.
Friendly authentic Italian people. The pasta didn't appear to be home made which was disappointing, but the Salads were substantial - worthy of Main meal with lots of ingredients. Cofee and desert was excellent. Pasta and mains were a expensive.
Friendly staff, quick service and good food.Very good atmosphere and family friendly. Well located (though parking can be a hassel on a busy evening). We’ll be back 😁.
This was my dining experience at Gianni’s. The wait staff were delightful & helpful. I’m gluten intolerant & the gluten free spaghetti with sea food was amazing. My husband & our friends also enjoyed their meals. Thank you. Pri Bond
Food is always good here. Really good pasta, cooked al dente, specials always changing. Nice atmosphere. Staff are attentive and always friendly. Our regular Italian place...
Food was good but the service was a bit slow. My order had to be taken several times . In all, the quality of my meal compensated for the slow service. I'd go back again
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. Every person at our table had only good things to say! Chocolate ravioli was an absolute winner!! We'll be back.
We ordered two pastas and a salad, followed by coffee and dessert and we could not fault anything. The service was delightful and we will be back!
Wonderful food, excellent service, fantastic ambience! We are always welcomed at this great restaurant. There is never any hurry to leave. Thank you Luca, thank you Gianni.
Nice quiet location, good service and good quality food. Not a huge menu but some good options. Generous portions and tasty. Hard to find good quality and authentic pasta so this is a good find. Prices are a little on the more expensive side so it's not a place you would go all the time but nice for a treat.
Food is always amazing here as well as the service. If you are after true Italian food this is the place to go. A little gem in Newstead.
The food, drinks and service were all amazing! A highly recommended restaurant. Great for a date night or for a larger group. Will be sure to return!
So good to find an authentic trattoria with wholesome service, food like you dream of finding in Italy and a very reasonable price. We love it.
Great atmosphere and friendly service. Antipasto and pizza was delicious and enjoyed with a glass of Italian Pinot Nero. We will return with family or friends.
I think there should be an option to bring your own wine. Service was efficient but not very friendly. Swordfish dish with olives and capers was too salty.
