Food was really tasty and brilliant vegetarian options 👍, probably requires a little more atmosphere however it was Christmas day so probably the shops around are normally open.

If you love authentic Indian food this little restaurant is a must. Don't forget to add a Garlic Naan or two to your order.

The place was small but tidy and thx thugs were kind and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and left us a good amount of time to look at the menu. When we asked questions they were polite and helpful and we were glad we could split the check at the end as not everyone allows this. I would definitely go again and recommend it to everyone

Madras was the best we’ve ever had. Kids enjoyed their butter chicken. Staff were friendly and efficient.

So much flavour and perfect on the mild, medium and hot (we had one of each). Definitely a recommendation for Brits abroad 😉

My visit to the restaurant was part of a group and we chose it based on other online reviews which I feel aren't correct. It's not good for a group and is not a fine dining one. The space is small in an adjacent part of the Arcade and tables are too close to each other. Not recommended for a special event or for groups. The flavour of food was average, few of vegetarian curries didn't taste good but the non-veg tandoori platter wasn't bad, except that it had a mushroom! The service wasn't bad but the waiters surely are not professionals. I'd recommend Red Pepper on Bourke Street for a special event or Dosa Hut on King Street if ambience doesn't matter. Food tastes good at both places but Red Pepper is expensive.

Very nice people. Low price, hearty & tasty curries. Samosas probably reheated and a little overcooked as a consequence but that's a minor point in the scheme of things. Highly recommended for people in the market for tasty, budget priced Indian food

Best curry I have had for a long time, if you want medium heat order mild. spices are a bit hotter than other curry restaurants.

This resturant has a very cute, cosy feel to it. The staff were absolutely lovely. They were friendly, professional and welcoming. This was my first time to the resturant and I will definitely be going back. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Reasonably priced for the quality of food you get. Do not be turned off by the resturants size or its slightly out of the way location it is definitely a place to try if you enjoy quality Indian food.

Food very good, probably the best curry in Melbourne. However, the setting feels as though you're eating outside in a corridor, rather than in the restaurant itself.

Unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. I ordered 2 curries, a chicken and a beef. When it arrived it was 2 chicken curries. The owner didn't offer to change the chicken curry to a beef, but right at the end of the meal he brought me a small container of beef curry. So he did redeem himself!! Also on the website it said the cost would be between $11-13. He charged me $14.
