Always a good feed , casual dining and the staff are very friendly
Nice atmosphere and good serving size. Thank you for a nice meal
Went before a Girls Night Out movie which are always very popular. Checked to make sure we would get our food in time for movie start. Was told yes if we ordered straight away. We did. Simple order of 4 mains, no variations. We had some drinks while we waited. Food did not arrive. We left just in time to see the start of movie, missed the ads and everything. Staff were fine and apologetic, but I don’t think they should make false promises on a busy night when they can’t deliver.
Located in what was once an old pub, Groove Train - Frankston has now been transformed into a stylish eatery, featuring a cosy mezzanine as well as a private dining room, making it perfect for celebrating special occasions or holding group function. In true Melbourne style, breakfast is a big deal over at Groove Train. Whether you’re after a fresh fruit salad or some granola or want to go all out with the whole groovy hog (fried eggs, bacon, Italian pork sausage, tomato, onions, mushrooms and sourdough bread) or some triple stacked pancakes with ice cream, you’ll find them all on the dedicated breakfast menu. Wash it all down with Groove Train’s own coffee blend!
Come lunch and dinner time, you’ll find an array of global cuisine on offer so no matter if you are craving a Thai curry, some Italian pasta or wood-fired pizza, Greek souvlaki or a juicy steak, Groove Train have got you covered. We recommend trying the Moroccan spiced lamb served with saffron rice and spiced yoghurt. Vegetarians are also well catered to, with options including the polenta and roasted vegetable stack (grilled polenta with oven roasted vegetables, fresh ricotta, napoli sauce and rocket) and the veggie burger. To grab one of the best seats at this Melbourne hotspot on Frankston’s Wells Street, make your reservation in advance!
