The Groove Train - Reservoir

Booked for 7.30pm dinner and at 8.30pm we were told last drinks. Food was great but felt pushed out when its advertised as closing at 9pm.

great friendly staff that took care of all our needs. the food was delicious and will definitely come back again . great place to catch up with mates

Don’t like to Say this but worse than bad cannot remember a worse meal soggy fish batter like wet bread. Probably microwaved cold soggy chips. Left the margarita just taquila triple sec and ice no flavour.worst food worst drinks. I cannot believe the waitress brought it out

Foid was delivered quickly and staff attentive. The environment was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. We were there at a quiet time of the day

The waitress we had was great. The food was good. The general restaurant was not good. We were a table of 6, and after sitting down we realized the terms and conditions of our shop a docket and asked our waitress if we could sit on separate tables. She said it was fine to stay on the same table and she would work out to put our orders separately so we could benefit from the shop a dockets. We then find out after putting our orders through that management was not happy with the decision and said next time we can not do that. So next time we won’t come there and we will choose another restaurant that doesn’t have such ridiculous terms and conditions.

Great service, quick turnaround, trendy decor, generous portions great value, ample parking right outside. Would definately go again and recommend to others... you have to try the tasting platter, delish but left little room for mains.

Good service and the food is delicious. The restaurant is spacious with decent design. The price is reasonable. Near Latrobe university. I’m really satisfied with the experience

Clean, peaceful surrounds. The food was great, beautifully cooked and presented. Just the right amount of attention from staff. There are 4 of us and we each enjoyed our meals.

The waitress we had just didn't seem to know anything about the menu and just didn't seem to want to be there, we spent way over $100 but would not go back to the restaurant

Service was great but food was lack lustre unfortunately. Ordered smashed Avo with poached eggs and the sourdough was tough and overcooked. Difficult to cut through and ruined the dish.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. My party of 7 were all really happy with their meal. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.

We have been to this restaurant numerous times over the past few years and have not had any problems. The food is consistently great, the service is good and we will be back.

Steak sandwiches were great, but the chicken wok fried noodles weren't that good with an unusual bitter flavour. Would still come back and just be smarter with choices

11 of us for pre Christmas catch up. All the meals were great and the staff were prompt and friendly. No wonder we keep going back for more.

The food and the service were absolutely fantastic!!! The only difficulty was deciding what to order as all the plates going past me looked delicious.

The staff were happy to help. The service was prompt and the food was good. Still need to put more chicken in the chicken salad 😊 it would be good to have more smaller/cheaper options.

Good food , good service friendly staff. Staff continue to rotate through the restaurant to make sure you do not need for anything and quick to serve you

I would definity recommend the bbq ribs special, also found that the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend to visit this restaurant. :)

We went for breakfast. 2 of our party ordered scrambled eggs and both found them inedible. Bacon was good! Service was fine. Pity about the eggs.

They have an great selection on their menu to choose from. The food is amazing, very tasty. Tables are not to close to each other very spacious

Welcoming staff & fairly quick service. However they got our order wrong & tried to over charge us on our bill. Always double check your bill & make sure you are only paying for what you ordered! Overall, food was fair, my salad was overdressed & had a huge vinegar hit to it. All in all, wouldn't return.

Good range of options on menu including some healthy ones which is what I was looking for. Food was very tasty. Prompt and friendly service.

The staff were very kind, sweet and attentive. The restaurant has appealing and attractive decor. The food is fresh and cooked well. The dessert menu itself is not very extensive but the cakes on offer at the counter suffice the sweet tooth.

The service was quite good, the meals tasted delicious and the location is great as it is close by to our work to have a quick lunch.

We have celebrated my daughters 18th and sons 16 Birthdays here with friends and family. Fantastic food, great selection on menu. Great staff at reservoir. Very clean , will go back again.

The service was ok - waiters were friendly although we had pre-ordered our food to be ready by 12.15 as we were on a 1hr lunch break. The food was not ready until after 12.35. Quite dissapointing as I had made a point of checking it would be on time, and there was only 6 of us and not many in the restaurant. Food was delicious, had the calamari entree and greek salad. Last time we had pre-ordered the food arrived closer to the requested timeframe.

Food is always great at Reservoir, plenty of choices on the menu for everyone. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is always keep clean. Keep up the fantastic work.

Very disorganised. Seats wet. Table broken. Replaced table..... new one also broken. No one came to take any order for half an hour not even coffee. Coffee cold. Food cold and very average. Don't bother.
