Been a while since returning but happy with food and services

Pleasantly surprised by the half price promotion. Lovely to share the space with a range of ages from grandparents to babies, locals and overseas visitors. Will definitely return.

Fantastic venue and with the 50% off deal a no brainer really. One of the best pubs around in the area with GREAT food.

New items in the menu and good meal and exciting trivia .

We had an enjoyable meal at the Gunyah Hotel, great atmosphere & friendly staff. Food was delicious, we’ve already booked for another night.

The food was ok I wouldn’t rave about it as all meals were a bit bland. There weren’t many people in the restaurant & we waited over 30 minutes for our meals to come out & our meals were all salads. I wouldn’t make the effort to go back.

Customer greeting can improve staff can be more welcoming. The food was good. The seafood tasting plate was underwhelming.

Food was great. It got pretty busy so had a long wait for our order. It was worth it though!

A good meal for the price. Staff are friendly but the drinks are expensive. Water is free though so that was the drink of the night.

There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it still took 45 minutes for our main meals to arrive, after some questioning as to why so long. Meals were on the ordinary quality with the battered Murrurundi having little flavour, the chicken schnitzel was tasty but too thick for a schnitzel and the beef pie was tasty but small in size for a main. Overall ok 👍

Always like the dining area at the Gunyah when I meet a good friend for lunch. It is spacious and airy. The only things I would like are better coffee and more small, simple desert options. Possibly a small simple healthy style (wholemeal?) fruit muffin (berries etc), or an almond meal friand with berries? Just something to finish off a meal that isn't filling? Cheers!

We had a family preChristmas lunch at The Gunyah. The service, food and atmosphere were all fantastic.

Food was excellent. But having said that our group of ladies only had the $17 lunch special. No complaints about our meals. Calamari was tender. Not too many chips and not an over abundance greenery in salad, as is usually the case. Service quick and staff polite. Would definitely go back .

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was delicious and served quickly.

3 out of 4 meals got a big tick. However, the GF Chilli Squid got the big thumbs down and 4 hours later she's still paying the price. My wife does not want to return !

As a regular lunch goer,our previous experiences have always been excellent both in staff friendliness and prompt service. Today unfortunately was the worst experience we have encountered . After ordering we waited approximately 40+ minutes for our meals to arrive,that was after asking staff to check where our orders were. In that time guests that had ordered after us were served. When our meals finally arrived we only initially received three out of the four meals ordered. When the fourth meal finally arrived,it was cold,resulting in it being returned and a refund was asked for,which was accommodated . At no time after highlighting our issues did any senior on duty staff come and ask about our issues. IT MAY BE A WHILE BEFORE WE RETURN😡

Exceptional food, venue and service! Nothing was too much to ask. Food was delicious and came out in great time. Our birthday cake that we brought with us was delivered to the table on a platter with serving plates, straight to the birthday lady. Thanks for a great evening, Gunyah and thanks to the amazing staff!

Music in the bar area was too loud in the restaurant at 7.15 pm. The house from the other diners was loud enough. Loud music a bit later is a better idea.

Unfortunately I was disappointed by the pear from the desert menu, I was expecting something similar to an apple crumble, it definitely needs custard or cream to soften the taste of the pear. I like the Diane sauce but unfortunately I didn’t think it had the Diane taste.

Servers weren’t on the ball considering it wasn’t that busy, 3 items were forgotten for our table. Music was terribly loud for lunch time and we had to yell over each other. Food was fine but nothing to write home about..
