Absolutely amazing place ! Food was DIVINE ! Staff were lovely ! Highly recommend ! Will definitely be back !

Atmosphere was good & we had a table near with a view of the lake which was very nice. Food was average. The chicken snitzel, Hoki fillets & snapper were all too dry. My husband’s steak was over-cooked - medium/well done instead of medium rare.

I wrote yesterday about my experience and no one responded. I was left waiting for ages when I turned up, overcharged, the food was terrible and cold, my drink was wrong, we didn’t get given the water we requested and despite booking early and requesting a quieter corner table (my dad is deaf) we were put in the middle next to a table of 18 or so celebrating women. It is the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. The Gunyah is going downhill.

Greg looked after us very well. So did the bar staff. The aircon was too cold, & could not be lowered or it leaks water. The steak was more rare, than medium rare, & served up cold

tables were not cleared even after ordering dessert, dessert was to long in being served and even after inquiring it was still 20 mins .

Nice welcome, which is important. Good food. Seafoo pasta sauce could have had more flavour.

The bottle of wine I ordered was showing as $32 on the wine list but when charged it came up as $38. The attendant said that the price could not be changed to match the price on the wine list. This is poor management and poor customer service.

I ordered a rump steak and could barely cut the meat. My friend ordered the $90 steak and it wasn't cooked the way he had ordered and didn't seem to be the size stated on the menu. It definitely was not worth $90.

Very disappointing meal, the salt and pepper squid had no flavour, probably no pepper!! Our main meals came out when we were half way through our entrees and were taken back to the kitchen and then came out cold not even kept warm. Staff were lovely though

Good but need to update lunch menu on line, we were looking forward to chicken schnitzel, and the rump steak. Lovely staff.

The speciality pork dish was overcooked and for one of our diners inedible! Thr salad with fennel was disappointing,no flavour. Fish was enjoyable and service excellent.

Really reasonable priced pub food and Trivia adds some interest.

We have visited Gunya hotel several times over the last 3 years and have found it to be friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and the service exceptional. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends and we will definitely keep coming back

Another fantastic visit to the gunyah. Meals were speedy and delicious when arrived at the table. And the tiramisu is simply Devine. Cannot wait for my next visit

Sunday roast was simply huge so good and great value for money

The food was lovely but they had changed their menu and our 88year old friend was so disappointed that she couldn’t order the Garlic Prawns she has always enjoyed them there.

My friend & I were delighted with our visit, including variety of dishes, flavour of what we chose & our location. The staff were wonderful & being able to linger longer than we thought we might be able to was a real bonus. That is something I shall report to friends, especially if they are catching up after a few years, which was our situation. That is an impressive aspect of The Gunyah. Thank you.

We went in a group of 9 for a birthday celebration. The staff were amazing - even though it was busy nothing seemed like too much trouble. Food was yummy and good value for money. Great spot with the view to the Lake too.

I believe I may have been overcharged for our meal last Friday. I emailed the Gunyah Hotel to clarify the cost of our meal & to date no reply has been received. Quite disappointed.

the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful 😁. it was my wife's birthday and the staff did all they could to make it special for her. the meals were beautiful as well

The food was great and we stayed for trivia. It was a fun night.

Food was great. However it seems to be an issue across all bistros that have salad with their meals. 90% Mescaline Lettuce. 4-5 1/2 slices of Spanish onion, 1 cherry tomato then coated in vinegarette. Boring. But the service was fantastic & the rest of our food was great!

The Spanner Crab pasta special didn't have much flavour at all and for $36 is was very disappointing. It was schnitzel special night ($18) but the sides were chips and salad, you could not change to vegetables. If you wanted to change to vegetables you had to purchase the $25 schnitzel. No sauce included in the special so you are really looking at $21 with no alterations. The service was good but the food no so much, and it's quiet expensive for what you get.. It used to be my local but I think I will be going elsewhere in future. Thank you.
