Hannibal Restaurant

The food in Hannibal's was very good Lebanese food - not exceptional, not mind-blowingly awesome, just very good, which a lot of the time is exactly what you want - a no fuss restaurant serving good food with friendly service and giving you lots of space to enjoy the food and the company you are with.

Lovely restaurant, Nice atmosphere, food is really good. I recommend it.

Not sure if they have new management or chef, lamb was dry and chewy which it never has been before. Quality seems to be dropping.

Service OK. Food average. But no belly dancer. Advertised at 9pm so we booked for 8.30pm and the told she’d come at 8pm and was gone. Disappointed so not inclined to patronise again.

Overpriced for the portions, food was only OK. Wouldn't come back.

A good overall experience. Food was exceptional, cooling / air flow wasn't appropriate to the weather outside.

Con: The background music is too loud. It's even louder when there is a belly dance show. There is no reason to blast the music that loud. Pro: Attentive table staff, which is much appreciated.

Despite being busy, the customer service was satisfactory. The food was great too.

Great ambience, loved being in the dining room with wall hangings, seated on cushions. The food was authentic and delicious, good value for money. The service was attentive and excellent. There was even a belly-dance show to watch. Excellent experience. Will recommend to friends and definitely will be back.

Always amazing. The mixed grilled plate easily serves two and the felafels are top notch!

We booked well in advance for a table of six. We were put in the door as were told the restaurant was booked - all the other tables of six did not show so I think we were there just to make it look busy but it was cold and not like the old Hannibal's we used to visit - then there was no liver therefore a little disappointed - but food was good.

slow to get to us but then servie very good; noisy party arrived but very quiet prior to that. Will definitely go again.

Great food, great service! The waiters are amazing quick and the food! Oh my god the food! I’m by no means a vegetarian but they could sway me. Also the carpeted walls and lower tables really add to the experience! 10/10 one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney.

Quality food and atmosphere. Also we had a group of 4 and we could converse comfortably. A place you would come back to again.

Great food, attentive staff and beautiful environment. We were seated in the cushion room, it was so cosy! All the dishes we tried were delicious but I'd definitely recommend the falafel! YUM!

Excellent food and service, great ambiance like being in Arabian country . Low table, cushions and arazzi on the walls. Great quality of food, vines leaves and falafel are the best.

A fine night at the House of Hannibal. We were transported by the decor, tantalised by the foodstuffs, enchated by the wait staff. It was a sulty summer night. We felt the vibe, the beat, the ancient streets of Lebanon.

while the servings were generous, the quality of the food quality was ordinary. It did not prove to be a true persian or middle eastern experience. The exception was the hummus which was excellent

Food freshly made, tasty but a bit low on the spicy (hot and savoury) front. and hopeless with cocktails. Lebanese coffee dumbed down - not a patch on what you'd get in the middle east

The service was very slow; felt understaffed. Food was very slow to come out (even things which didn't require cooking, like pickles). Food was okay though.

It was a quiet Saturday night with no entertainment but the food was really nice. We had the 12 dish feast for 2 people and were really full! They also provided a nice wine selection. I would go back : )
