Service wasn’t good, we seemed to have to keep getting up to ask for things sand toilets were not clean

Delicious food and friendly staff! Half price desserts on Sunday was a great surprise!

Service was 10/10 Drinks spot on Food was delicious, didn’t have to wait long for food.

The food was good, the cocktails tasted different each time we ordered the same like different quantities of ingredients were added each time- some were nice and some were too sour. Service was ok but many staff looked new or a little lost and the corn chips that came with the tacos were stale.

We had a fabulous time. We went for my daughter’s 13th birthday and the staff came out with a complimentary churros dessert and the sang happy birthday to her, the other patrons in the restaurant joined in too. She was thrilled! And couldn’t stop smiling! What a fun experience

The food and service was fantastic. portion sizes are quite large and good value and the atmosphere throughout the restaurant is amazing.

Every time my family and I are in Mornington, we always visit at least once. Staff are always friendly and accomodating, food is consistently fresh and flavoursome, and margaritas strong and refreshing! Love this place and look forward to coming back.

First time tonight coming here as we live down Rosebud way and trying to get a fussy 13 year old to eat something different every Wednesday is hard but even he said it was amazing and wants to come back again! food was great, atmosphere was very Mexican even the hats tipped the night off! we had fun and we will come back again!

We had an outstanding experience at hecho en mexico for lunch, thanks to Tiffany's exceptional service. Despite managing the bar, attending to multiple customers, taking orders serving food, and taking feedback, all by herself. She handled everything with remarkable efficiency and a cheerful attitude. We had chicken combo, chimichanga, chips all with side of guacamole. For drinks we had long Island and strawberry mojito. And for desert we took brownie with chocolate. The food was amazing and filling, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally delightful, perfectly complementing our meals. Tiffany's professionalism and dedication truly enhanced our dining experience. We highly recommend hecho en mexico and look forward to returning soon!

The atmosphere is groovy and fun, the staff very friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. Having eaten in many cantinas in Mexico the flavours were very much like the original. The serve sizes are great for a main or to share we had intended a desert but felt very satisfied with our mains.

Our lunch at Hecho en Mexico in Mornington was fabulous. It was my kids birthday lunch and the staff all sang happy birthday complete with maracas and bells as they brought out their free candle lit churros for dessert. The food was amazing- fresh ingredients, generous serves, great cocktails and huge choice on the menu. We will definitely be back 😘

Hecho en Mexico is alway a delight! The food is so flavourful and presented so nicely. The drinks are so refreshing and I love the cinnamon sugar rim. The strawberry mojito is my favourite drink and I will always get that one. The Chimichanga (deep fried burrito with pulled pork) is the absolute best dish and it’s always a fan favourite at my house. Will return religiously!!

the food wasnt authentic , everything was covered with sauces and too cooked , unfortunately , i dont think we will return again as this is our second time here and its disappointing. even the service wasnt good, the girl couldnt understand us and didnt speak english well wont be recommending etiher :( music and noise levels were too high to be able to speak and be heard
