Our lunch at Hecho en Mexico in Mornington was fabulous. It was my kids birthday lunch and the staff all sang happy birthday complete with maracas and bells as they brought out their free candle lit churros for dessert. The food was amazing- fresh ingredients, generous serves, great cocktails and huge choice on the menu. We will definitely be back 😘

Hecho en Mexico is alway a delight! The food is so flavourful and presented so nicely. The drinks are so refreshing and I love the cinnamon sugar rim. The strawberry mojito is my favourite drink and I will always get that one. The Chimichanga (deep fried burrito with pulled pork) is the absolute best dish and it’s always a fan favourite at my house. Will return religiously!!

the food wasnt authentic , everything was covered with sauces and too cooked , unfortunately , i dont think we will return again as this is our second time here and its disappointing. even the service wasnt good, the girl couldnt understand us and didnt speak english well wont be recommending etiher :( music and noise levels were too high to be able to speak and be heard

Three generations enjoyed a family dinner. Plenty of options so all tastes were catered for. The serving staff were very pleasant, decor bright and cheerful. Will happily go back.

Truly authentic Mexican food. Two of us bought the $70 Bottomless taco and drinks package. We got through 6 delicious tacos and three amazing (not watered down) margaritas and pink palomas. Staff and service were fantastic. Definitely will be back again to try the full menu. Totally brilliant!

Great could book ahead. Had to flag down a waitress to make my order because I wasn’t ready to order 2 minutes after being seated. Meal came quickly. Delicious. Drinks expensive.

It is really noisy but there's not much you can do about the noise level. It was really busy and really vibing. Had a lovely night and I'm telling everyone about how yummy the food was. Will be back for sure!

Opting for the fish tacos as a main, I was greeted with the usual fresh ingredients beautifully presented on the plate. My only "gripe" is there was far too much sauce/mayo poured over the salad which drowned out the crunchy freshness of the ingredients. The fish was delicious but the salad was drowned and was a limp mate in the taco.

Food is delicious. Service was great. Looking forward to going back there again.

The food here is so deliciously tasty and really well priced. The restaurant looks fantastic, from the art work to the cups and cutlery holders. The selection of desserts and range of drinks is also great and different from most other Mexican restaurants.

Felt it was a little bit overpriced and the restaurant is way to loud to be able to hold a conversation with someone.

Drinks not served Food quality underwhelming Venue too loud and congested

The food was average, the paella was sloppy, for dessert we ordered churros for 3 and we received 3x 10cm churros. The $65 jug of margarita was full of ice and didn't eve fill the 3 glasses. We left feeling quite underwhelmed.
