Upon entering the venue we were greated with extremely loud music, so loud that the host couldn’t hear me. We were taken to a table but we asked to move as there was a group of loud, obnoxious and drunk patrons. We were served quickly by staff and the food arrived in a timely manner. We weren’t expecting a surcharge as it was not mentioned by staff so it was a surprise to see the note advising of this when we went to pay. Maybe staff should have more training for responsible serving of alcohol as this was clearly not practiced on this occasion. Very, ver disappointing experience that cost $200!!

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. The only problem I had was some of the music they were playing. It was a little bit loud but that wasn't really a problem. What I really didn't like was the fact that a lot of the music was hip hop with very explicit lyrics. Lots of full-on swearing and while that doesn't bother me personally, this is a "family" restaurant and there actually were young kids there and an elderly woman who appeared to be in her eighties and there were f-bombs and mf's and bit#@£s flying all over the place. I know I sound old fashioned and in some ways I am and I know this kind of thing is more and more accepted these days but I just don't think it's very professional. Anyway, the food and service were great. 😊

It was quite busy with limited staff. The staff were still so friendly and professional even though they were under the pump. Food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the tacos…

Would have liked to be offered a drink even thou I was the first from my group to arrive , but after that service was good

There was another big party going on because of which the wait staff was really stretched and was not able to really focus on our orders. As a result, the service was delayed, we had to ask for our order a few times, etc. Not a problem of the wait staff in my opinion, just that they seemed to be stretched thin.

We have eaten here on many occasions, with my husband, with the family and with friends. We have never had any issues with service, atmosphere and the food. Tonight we were very disappointed with the service. After being seated at our table, we sat in front of the kitchen, we waiting with menus for a while, without having any staff (two waitresses at this stage) coming back to the table or even to be seen. I ended up getting up from our table and walking to the front, to find the two staff just chatting around the corner in the bar area. I told them we were ready to order, both drinks and food. A beer and a coke was bough to the table, the coke, unopened and not even a glass to pour it in to was offered. My husbands food was bought to the table about 10mins later. I waited another 10mins before mine was placed up on the pass. Twice the bell was run before again one of the staff came from behind the bar to retrieve and bring it to our table. By now my husband had already finished eating and I was just starting. Not once did anyone come back to the table to ask if we needed any more drinks, again I needed to approach a staff member to get one. Apart from the food as usual being amazing, we really had an unpleasant experience this evening. I hope this is taken on board and staff are spoken to, trained properly in the customer services practices, as there was none. Drinks are a selling point, people come in to eat, and good customer service sees staff constantly checking if another drink is required when they see one empty, this is where the money is, take advantage of it.

Hencho Werribee offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks to its friendly staff. It's a great spot for a family dinner, with delicious food that's full of rich flavors.

When we arrive the restaurant was relatively quite. We waited 15 minutes before flagging down an waiter to order our drinks. When the drinks were delivered we ordered our main meals. The food came out promptly and was delicious. When the waiter cleared our table we ordered a (1 single) Nutella burrito. 35 minutes later we were still waiting. We asked the waiter to cancel the burrito and after speaking to the kitchen staff she came back and said sorry it can't be cancelled because they are already making it. That's fine, but we then waited a further 10 minutes to recieve it. 45 minutes for 1 Nutella buritto is not ok. Yes the restaurant had become quite busy by the time they delivered our dessert, but it wasn't when we ordered...

Nice staff, quick service, food was ok although the Fajitas were chewy.

We attended for Bottomless Brunch and we were disappointed in the size of the margaritas. They were significantly smaller then normal and as the service was slow, we probably spent about half the time without a drink.

Very good experience, only problem was Vegan guest was given a non Vegan meal, when they asked, to confirm whether the meal was vegan they were assured it was. Then 5 minutes later their actual vegan meal was served, had already begun to eat a non vegan meal.

Service was average, the staff had little to no knowledge of the alcohol and had trouble describing some of the food. The food was lovely but nothing special. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable, great if you don't want people staying for too long. Please consider cushions or more comfortable chairs.

The food and service were good - not great. We weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks at any stage which was a little disappointing.

The food was delicious and the service was great. But the menu has very small writing and some dishes don't have much of an explanation. One of our guests struggled to read the menu due to the small font. The venue was quite loud... but it was a busy night.

Our first visit to Hecho en Mexico for our anniversary. Food was great, staff were friendly and proactive in providing great customer service. Will definitely be returning.

Service could have been better, was rushed to leave, couldn’t even finish my drink, bill was placed on the table and was indirectly told to leave. Food was good but wish was given more time to order main. Are we really expected to leave this early on a Saturday night?!

Enjoyed our dining experience with great variety of food and drinks

Unfortunately tonight the service was ordinary, drinks were not made as requested. Items of food ordered didn’t arrive. When I asked for more cutlery for dessert, not enough was brought to the table, and the waitress just stood there holding her hand out couldn’t be bothered to put it on the table or pass to us. I asked for an additional straw, it never turned up. So, not the best visit tonight, in the past it has been great.

We’ve been here several times. The food is amazing and a great spot for couples/friends/families. Reasonable prices too!
