Heritage Indian is a restaurant whose name suggests its philosophy – to showcase the culinary heritage of South Asian and the Indian continent in remarkable dishes made to order using the freshest ingredients and expertly balanced spice mixes. Heritage India finds itself in the northeastern Melbourne suburb of Heidelberg along Burgundy Street, close to the parklands fringing the Yarra River. It’s a great spot for a curry house, and when you head there to dine, be sure to sample the restaurant’s most popular dishes. The Heritage special family pack, for instance, lays on samosas, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, mixed vegetable korma, saffron rice, naan and roti, with raita, chutney and poppadoms on the side. Simply delicious.
Excellent food; excellent service; menu adaptable to the needs of five pax. As we had five x and many entrees are four pieces, the restaurant suggested adding an extra piece.
