Hey Gringo

Melbourne’s vaqueros and, yep, gringos that like to don a sombrero once in a while congregate here at Hey Gringo, a Latin American restaurant and Mexican cantina on Prahran’s High Street. The concept is as simple as a tequila shooter – combine tacos, beer, beats and eats with a soulful selection of music for the quintessential south-of-the-border experience. Happy hours here are long and daily, from 4pm until 7pm, during which you can grab house spirits and gringo pints for just a few pesos plus two-for-one selected cocktails. Grab some Mexican-style tapas – raciones – to share between collaborators, tacos and quesadillas, burritos, and asado, whole cuts of chicken, steak, pork, and seafood roasted over glowing coals. ¡Ay!
