We’re told not to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes titles and names are spot on. That’s exactly the case with this cool cafe on Nelson Street in Kenthurst, somehow still relatively unmarked on most of Sydney’s culinary maps. Hidden Jem has everything you could require from a local cafe – first-rate coffee, refreshing fresh shakes and smoothies, homely digs (the polished post-industrial kind), superb food, dog-friendly operators and plenty of dedicated space and treats for kids. But adults are the ones who really appreciate Hidden Jem’s secret delights, found on their lengthy breakfast and brunch menus. Beautifully presented and ranging from small brekkie bites to indulgent cheese platters for a leisurely afternoon, Hidden Jem’s range of eating choices provide for your enjoyment, nourishment and relaxation throughout the day.

Great, and interesting, food, with excellent coffee and friendly staff. Both indoor and outdoor seating available, and being able to book is a great benefit. Will be back.
As per its name, nice quiet spot on the outside of some local shops. The meals were fabulous! Fresh, tasty & beautifully présentes!
