Overall excellent, offers dishes not found in average Vietnamese restaurants.Enjoyed experience of Vietnamese coffee. Host always lively and eager to please, good and local fresh food.

Upbeat atmosphere and very clean restaurant. Staff very polite and helpful. We didn't know what to choose from the menu so the owner (I think he was the owner anyway) recommended a variety of dishes which were all great.

Food was good, service was not as good, Had top ask for things a few times and Roti bread way overpriced for what came out.

Just keeps getting better. Friendly staff, great food and an excellent wine choice. Good place to drop in for a coffee and a quick snack.

Service was slow and not served together - 4 of us. Expected entree to be hot, but had frozen corn in it. Great to split the bill.

Its a great place to eat - can't be a little slow when they are busy - but the food certainly makes up for it

A friend and I shared the duck pancake and the stir fried noodles and both were delicious. The restaurant was clean and the service was prompt.

The food was delicious and the service was really friendly. Took a while for some to take our order when we 1st sat down, even just drinks. Our drinks then took a while to arrive they came with the food. Can overlook that though because rhe good was so tasty! Will be back!

A great warm place, friendly service and great food. Thank you to Aaron, Tony and the team. We had the beef vermicelli noodles, pork stuffed tofu from the specials, and your salt and pepper chicken ribs.

A fantastic little local hidden gem. Great food, value and service, with friendly staff. Ideal for lunch, dinner or just a snack. Well worth checking out.

Made our booking online 30 hrs before arriving really nice atmosphere and very helpful friendly staff food was very nice and clean servings size not to large but okay will definitely go back

Great food and atmosphere at hill cafe! I had some soft shell crab rice paper rolls and spring rolls wrapped with mint and lettuce. All was light and delicious!

Great to have a quality restaurant in the suburbs. Our entrée of spring rolls was lovely. Unfortunately my main was brought to me before the entrée. The waitress was apologetic and brought me a freshly cooked main when the entrée was finished. My daughter and I enjoyed our mains but lacked the flavours we expected. My Salt & Pepper calamari (although lovely and tender) didn't seem to have any salt & pepper. The 'Asian slaw' was lettuce, red cabbage & carrot - no asian dressing, so overall I could have had that at an Italian restaurant. My daughter Pork Belly Stirfry didn't wow her as again it lack the Vietnamese flavour punch. I've been before absolutely loved the Pho, so I will be back. Looking forward to trying their new weekend breakfast menu which sounds delicious.

Funky interior, tasty meals, good size portions and very reasonably priced. Bonus that we could use a buy one get one free coupon received in the mail. I will return!

Yummy. Well priced. Decent wines. We were pleased by the aesthetics and watching the meals heading to other tables, it's fair to say it all looks delicious. Good spot if you're choosing to eat in Bundoora.

Nice, modern restaurant.. Menu is very variable and interesting. Delicious coffee & dessert, the Vietnamese cuisine could improve a bit... But overall, we are satisfied with this visit

Great imaginative presentation of delicious food. Very attentive and courteous service. Lovely atmosphere. We will go again in summer to enjoy the outdoor dining area as well.

Food was excellent, service could pick up : don't pass plates over other guests when your can walk around the table, and pass coffee cups the same. Young staff just need to pick up with taking top off wine, ice bucket & service. Otherwise will go back.

We have been here a few times and always loved our experience. The food has always been great, service always great and the only reason not to give a 6 was that they unfortunately didn't have a great stock of beer. They were apologetic and it will not stop us from returning:)

Food was lovely and very fresh tasting, service 100%. Only fault is that our main course arrived before we had finished our entre and I noticed that happening to others as well. We were on our way out 35 mins after arriving. Not ideal. Otherwise great.

Easy online booking, great service by friendly staff. The flying prawns were an excellent highlight. We had a variety of dishes which were all delicious.

Great fresh food. Everything was very tasty. Loved the Pho! Service was good. No delays with any of the order and dishes came out pretty close to each other. Nice decor also.

I have been a couple of times for dinner and the food has been delicious both times. Its nice to have some where local to go.

Aaron , the owner, is a gentleman. Food is some of the best in the northern suburbs for its cusine. Awesome decor. Flavoursome coffee as well

Nice little cafe serving fresh homestyle Vietnamese food. Not a huge menu but everything we tried was good. Wait staff try very hard and are friendly. The only small criticism I have was that the mains came out a bit quickly- we hadn't quite finished our shared entrees and the dishes hadn't been cleared so there was no where to place the mains which we weren't ready for. Wasn't a huge issue. Overall a good experience.

The fried ice cream is very awesome, except when they run out, then it's sad. And the Won ton soup is very tasty as well.
