Service was excellent, Peking duck was disappointing, in fact I have had better from the packet at Woolworths. Cantonese beef was very disappointing as well. For eye fillet it was very chewy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall if not for the staff I would give this a 1 out of 5

The BEST Chilli wontons you can get anywhere. The sauce is to die for.

The food is, unfortunately, not the quality it used to be. The panfried dumplings no longer came in their pan with the 'dumpling wafer' and therefore lost their amazing texture, the chilli dumplings were lukewarm and the soup dumplings have lost their flavour. Additionally, we had a table next to us who, because of the table configuration kept swinging bags into our heads as they greeted each other.

The dumplings were amazing. The sizzling beef dish was very salty. But overall a good restaurant. there needs to be a few more dumpling in a serve.

Enjoyed meal until Peking duck. Came on steamer. So hot could not be handled. Pancake was wet duck was dry. Yuck. Ruined a good meal by not serving freshly made food

Wine excessively expensive $16 per glass, at a dumpling house. Food pushed without break, clearly to get you out quicker. No lingering meal. Will not be returning

Great food and excellent service. Enjoyed “real” Chinese menu with a wide range of dumplings and some excellent vegetable dishes. Will go to Hutong again.

My go to place for Saturday yum cha and dumplings it was fantastic!! You must try the egg tarts and the squashy things covered in coconut, they are pale green, yellow and white with a sort of marshmallow in the middle!! Really yummy 😋

The decor is great! The dishes are a bit too oily. No fruits on desert menu. Needs to be a bit more creative to differentiate itself.

Nice welcome, great selection of good, good quality, attentive service. Peking duck just perfect. This was all necessary as this is quite an expensive restaurant.

Very good yum cha dishes, unfortunately we had a later time than usual and some of the trolley dishes weren’t as hot as usual. Overall a reliable yum cha experience.

Great service. Not rushed as with some other yum cha sittings in weekends. Food excellent and authentic Cantonese. Reasonable choice although not If you are looking for the more exotic yum cha dishes.

Food was excellent, and service also. The only downside was that the restaurant was noisy, largely due to a group of 6 at the next table. I wouldn’t however let that put me off, and would go back again.

Great dumplings and ambience! You never feel rushed and staff today with the trolleys were really friendly and offered great service. The best way to enjoy Yum Cha in my opinion.

Food was quite expensive comparing to similar class yum cha restaurants in Melbourne. Service was quite poor comparatively also. Some of the food was actually cold by the time it was trolley over to our table. Quite unfortunate as I was really looking forward to discovering something new.
