Food was excellent, just let down a little by the service which had to be reminded about our green tea and didn't explain all of the dishes in the omakase.

When we booked we were not informed we had to leave in an hour. Was only told when we arrived. Which i think was not too nice as we had to rush through our dinner. Food is ok but have tasted nicer elsewhere.

Great food and chef very attentive. Hard-working wait staff need to make sure order is communicated clearly, so no surprises - ask questions if you are not sure. We'll be back!

Ichirin came recommended to us & it didn’t disappoint. Service was very good without being intrusive, food was absolutely beautiful, and came out quickly once ordered with Lovely presentation. Pity it’s such a small venue. Definitely be back again.

Ichirin is a low-key hidden gem in Leeming, which looks and feels like a humble neighbourhood restaurant but punches above its weight with an impressive menu that is truly Japanese but is also mindful of local ingredients. Went for the Omakase ("trust the chef") and was treated to a well balanced set of 6 courses, each thoughtfully crafted and distinctive than the last, and really showcased the skill of the chef. Ichirin is definitely something special, and I look forward to my next visit!

Fantastic neighbourhood gem! The ranking cod sashimi was fresh and the special tuna bento were just full of delicious goodies like tempura prawns, chicken karaage, salad & tuna chirashi on a bed of sushi rice.

Beef fillet is the best. Chef even came out to help. Waitress was sometimes forgetful but overall very high quality food. My second time coming.

Pleasant service, good value eats at a great price point. Dishes were well executed if rather safe. I think Shiro-san is potentially more creative than this month's omakase offer will have me believe though so another visit is definitely on the cards.

Great little place that serves up real authentic Jap. Full credit to Shiro-san for continuously evolving the menu to what the freshest produce is available, in accordance with the season.

Had the April Omakase menu. Dishes were fresh. The second dish (chicken) could be improved as it wasn’t tasty and tasted like steamed chicken. First dish (salmon), fourth dish (white fish) and fifth dish (beef) was outstanding.

We ordered - Assorted Sashimi (very fresh), White Fish with Mushroom in Tomato Broth (clean & clear taste) and Ichirin Bento (good way to get a taste of various items). Dishes were well presented and staffs were attentive.

Lovely lunch with delicious food, only disappointing part was no nigiri available 😞 but we had some Amazing Tempura prawns, goyza and a few other tasty dishes.

Food quality is always superb. The restaurant is always busy and full of people, but it is quite small. Owner is always happy to talk to customers and lovingly prepares all dishes. Reminds me of the food I have when visiting Japan.

The Omakase is superb. The restaurant has a lovely intimate feel to it due to the size. Open kitchen is great and fantastic service. Cannot fault... Will be back to try the a la carte...

The beef terayaki was perfectly cooked. Happy with the service too. The grandkids enjoyed the chicken terayaki. Will be back soon to have more delicious food.

The service has always been great.. ichirin bento box is very creative and well presented!! beef steak was superb..tender and moist cooked at right heat temperature.

Awesome food at a very reasonable price. Very small space but this adds to the experience. Watching the food prepared and seeing the precision of the chef was a bonus.

Delicious! Have been here four or five times and always happy! Authentic Japanese food, service was good, food came quickly and desserts was delicious! One of my favorite restaurants!

Food was excellent. Favourite course was the beef sushi (amazing - slightly seared beef on rice in the sushi style); least favourite the octopus - was not quite tender. Luckily it was a nice evening so we could sit outside, but my group of four was seated on the bench facing the kitchen - not ok for a group of four. Overall, a great night. The omakase always impresses!

The food was so great. If you haven’t tried this restaurant you should book now. It’s bit far from where we live but it’s worth driving down there. This restaurant is the best Japanese restaurant in Perth. We Can’t wait to go back.

The food was delightful, absolutely delicious. The only thing I can find fault with is service is a bit slow, but the pay off with the food outweighs this.

Went for the ichirin bento box. Last year end, it still served with a good portion of fried chicken (karrage).. Now the portion has been reduced. Also the agedashi tofu portion has reduced in size. Wish the portion is still the same as last year end. Overall is good.

Amazing dinner at a great price with friendly staff, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend dining here and can’t wait to go back.
