Excellent restaurant. Great food and excellent to catch up with friends over a nice cozy dinner. Excellent value for money. Can get busy so please book ahead. Cute and lovely place with fast service.
We love this place, brought my family along and they love it too. We ate karaage, spicy squid, Teri chicken, tofu salad, agedashi tofu and prawn and assorted tempura and many more wonderful dishes. So fresh and service so quick even when it's busy in the restaurant. Highly recommend.
Yummy food ( we had bento and teriyaki beef fillet), tables very close together, a bit expensive. Take away is much cheaper then dine in!
Serving size for chirashi don was generous and had a variety of fresh sashimi. The kinako ice cream was a very unique nutty flavour and a refreshing end to the meal.
I love this place. Fresh food and friendly service with a smile. Top quality food, always recommended to friends for a nice night out. We all love ichirin!
Always a beautiful meal at Ichirin, this is our 5th time and we have never been disappointed. The food is prepared with such attention to detail and tastes amazing.
The 3 of us went to Ichirin for the first time for a birthday lunch after some friends raved about their food. Thankfully we had made a reservation because their smallish restaurant was full. The waitress was very attentive and friendly and before long, we got our food. All 3 of us enjoyed what we ordered - the food was very fresh, tasty and well cooked and it was a unanimous decision that we would come back again.
ALWAYS ask Shiro for the specials of the day! Had the goldband snapper aburi along with the Harvey beef teriyaki set and both were outstanding.
Service was good. Staffs were very friendly. Food was average though. Price was tad bit expensive and not value for money. Overall everything is good.
A small and cozy restaurant. Fantastic Japanese cuisine with warm and attentive customer service. Absolutely delicious and not what you'd expect to find tucked away in the suburbs.
Authentic high quality Japanese food, and Wonderful service. Will be coming back for more. We had the lunch bento and it was great ! Their omakase is just as good
The intimate atmosphere and exceptional quality make this my 'go to' place for reliably excellent dining. Shiro is always smiling and watching him work his magic in the kitchen is always a treat. Great Japanese food, super fresh ingredients cooked to perfection and really good value for money.
Unexpected little place....fantastic Japanese food. Great service. We had the Aburi Salmon Sashimi, Aburi Scallops Sashimi and Beef Teriyaki. All very very well done. Shall be returning soon to try the rest of the menu.
We love ichirin! Like being back in Japan. Super friendly and efficient service. We highly recommend to all. Great value for money!! ❤ definitely try it!
Another delightful meal. We haven't been there for a while (although it is just up the hill) and wanted a nice japanese meal for 2. It was a beautiful experience, the place is small so you gotta book, and the food was divine. The Entree set was delicious and my Wagyu Beef Carpaccio was to die for. Will definitely be back.
I love this restaurant. Traditional authentic food served with love. Cute and cheerful restaurant at affordable prices. Highly recommended to all for an enjoyable night out.
Love Ichirin! The food was lovely and delicious. The service was good too. If you have toddlers they have baby chairs available too. Would come back again next time.
Great flavour, serving portion is just right for lunch. The menu is not very typical of other Japanese eats. Most importantly the ingredients are fresh.
Very efficient and friendly service. Food came out really quick and piping hot. Loved the tempura as the batter light but not oily. The sashimi was also really fresh.
Ichirin was a surprising gem in a quiet local shopping centre. We enjoyed the Omakase degustation menu, and each course was superb. Hard to choose a favourite. Will surely return, and recommend to others. Ichirin is quite small though, and tables closely spaced, although there is a "sushi bar" to sit at as well.
Good food and nicely presented. A gem. Highly recommended. Will visit again for dinner with my family. Chef proud of his job. Bravo! Keep it up.
A fantastic little restaurant. Staff very accomodating and food was beautiful, definitely will be going back. Great to find a local hideaway restaurant in this area.
Excellent - we had the omakase had it was really good with some exquisitely crafted dishes (vegetables, hirimasa wari and the beef fillet red miso were favorites). Staff were very friendly and attentive and it is a nice small venue. Only minor dissapointment was seeing someone else's Octopus Karage dish which looked awesome! Look forward to coming back.
The food is tasty, service is quick. Nothing to complain about. Would recommend to others, in fact, already recommended to others. Price is reasonable being Japanese food.
Greeted by friendly staff, staff very knowledgeable of all their menu items, took time to explain the dishes. Dishes freshly cooked or made while one waits and fantastic taste. Could not complain at all about anything here. Excellent.
I love this place. So friendly, such fresh food and excellent service. Would highly recommend to all. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
Lovely Japanese restaurant. Good menu choices. ..suits those who are familiar with Japanese cuisine as well as those being introduced. Chef does a fantastic job.
I visited Ichirin first time. I ordered Obento. The tempura was fantastic. I believe it was the one of best tempura in Perth. I will visit Ichirin again!
The staff were very helpful, kind and thoughtful. They were also great with kids. Food was delicious, quick and superbly presented. Huge demand for takeaway, too!
Nice local restaurant with fantastic service . Thanks for the lovely evening. Be nice if it was Just a bit bigger for larger groups, but hey also more intimate
Good quality japanese with high quality ingredients. We had the alacarte menu as we weren't allowed to have the omakase set menu unless the whole table orders it. Price was abit on the high end. Would definitely come back for the omakase menu as I think it's more value for money.
Such a great restaurant and definitely will be our regular dinning out place from now on. Food is great and fresh and friendly staff as well
I went with a group of 5 colleagues for a combined birthday lunch. It was beautiful fresh food and friendly and efficient service. The restaurant is small and cosy and a real find. I'll be back
Excellent seafood! We had the assorted sashimi and two types of hiramasa and all three dishes were superb! The sashimi was so fresh and you could tell that the hiramasa was too. Definitely coming back.
We had great time , the food were nice and fresh and i got suprise desert for my birthday , I was so happy , all my famliy enjoyed the 6 course meals, We will come back again!!! Thank you for the great service.
A cut above any Japanese restaurant I've tried in Perth. Nothing overtly fancy, but super ingredients and beautifully prepared and presented. And tasty as well.
Such a great restaurant and definitely will be our regular dinning out place from now on. Food is great and fresh and friendly staff as well
Such a great restaurant and definitely will be our regular dinning out place from now on. Food is great and fresh and friendly staff as well
This was my third time at Ichirin and they didn't disappoint! The sashimi carpaccio was a winner, as was the octopus karaage. My teriyaki salmon was cooked perfectly and everyone else loved their food too!
We had the $60 menu and the food was wonderful. You need to book 2 days in advance for this and it is definitely worth it - this menu changes monthly. The place was very busy with take away orders and other other diners - the bento boxes also looked great
Excellent food and service. Omakase was excellent and so far ichirin has not disappoint. Bento box is also a must try and their gyoza are highly recommended!
Had the omakase. Slow service. It shouldn't take long to assemble a few ingredients and drizzle some dressing over them. The ala carte would've been a better and faster option.
Authentic Japanese fare. We had the omakase but we will be back to try the alacarte menu. Bookings are essential as the space is small with few tables.
Great food, great service, and nice place....a bit small but it os ok! The quakity of the food is excellent! 4.5 star for me!!! I wikl be back in the restaurant again!!! :)
Fantastic little Japanese restaurant. Did their Degustation menu and it was fantastic. The owner/chef really cares about the food he puts out to you. Would Recommend!
Have an enjoyable time. Food is great. Service is excellent, except for the initial order confusion by a new staff. Ambience is good except for the tight seating for small restaurant.
The sashimi is very fresh and everything else on the Ichirin Bento was prepared and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.
Beautiful food and service. There was nothing I didn't love. We had the entree plate of the day which was bonito tataki, oysters karage (I think) and soft shell crab, gyoza, soft shell crab rice paper rolls and the best teriyaki salmon ever. Can't wait to return. May try the degustation menu next time.
Amazing experience. The food was divine and even though there was only one waitress serving around twenty customers, she made sure all were attended to and that food arrived in a timely manner. Highly recommended place. Make sure you reserve a table in advance as its a small place which can get filled up quickly.
The restaurant has limited seating so ensure you make a booking in advance. We came for lunch and every dish was delish. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and service was super friendly. Would definitely go back again!
