Since 1988, Il Cugino Pizzeria has been tossing dough, crafting amazing Italian mains and serving Leichhardt locals with a smile at their Norton Street location. The Sydney restaurant is casually decorated and the vibe is laidback, so guests are welcome to come by for any occasion, and to bring along the kids, too! With some of the area’s friendliest service, Il Cugino Pizzeria is a reliable choice for lunch or dinner, and is open every day of the week except Monday.
While the pasta dishes and the meat specialities – think T-bone steak, Vienna schnitzel, veal valdostana, and saltimbocca – are delicious, the pizza is what draws most Sydney locals to Il Cugino Pizzeria in Leichhardt. Order varieties like the Tropical topped with cheese, ham & pineapple, the Americana piled high with cheese, ham, pepperoni and bacon, or the hearty Continental with cheese, ham mushrooms, cabanossi, garlic and prawns. This casual Italian restaurant can really pack in a crowd, so be sure to book ahead if you’re looking for an amazing Italian dining experience in Leichhardt
We have been going to Il Cugino for years, too long to remember exactly maybe 15 years or more. They make great Pizzas & spaghetti marinara - all your dishes are yummy!! Thanks Charlie & family. Cheers Joe
Everything went superb. This is the 2nd time I have been there. Both time was greeted with a big smile. People were so lovely and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back again.
Food was great, particularly the pasta. However it doesn't quite have the restaurant atmosphere to go out to dinner after a movie. BYO keeps the cost down.
