Second visit, the food was great. The ragu pasta and the cabonarra without cream were delicious as was the pumpkin pasta special. However the service was very slow and we had to wait a long time for our meals. Takeaway seemed to get priority. Will give it another try in the future

Service and food were spectacular. They just need to add a lactose free option so that I can finish my meal with a coffee.

Scrumptious food, need more staff. Only one staff member serving the whole restaurant, and she was no doubt stressed but managed well

Overall a most enjoyable evening. However due to the presence of several large tables the service was a little slow. The food was delicious and staff were delightful and pleasant. Will definitely return particularly for the arancini balls.

Food is excellent at this cosy little restaurant. The staff are very friendly. However, expect to wait a long time to get your food. Service is a bit slow. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked. I think another waiter is definitely needed!

Tonight was our first visit to Il Desiderio and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Nice food, but terrible service. Two dishes arrived quickly but were almost finished by the time the other two dishes arrived. Half the table was then cleared and we waited for someone to come and clear the remaining dishes and take our desert order. We ended up leaving after 15 minutes (with no desert).

Saturday night, busy , prob could do with one more floor staff but everything was great

Great little restaurant. Delicious food, excellent service and nice ambience. This was our first try and we'll definitely come back. We will let our friends and family know, too

Although our Scoopon voucher isn't accepted on Saturdays, we were assured it would be when we telephoned. Upon arriving, this was reversed/contradicted. We had a nice meal, but waited a long time for it. It is a casual restaurant. We enjoyed our time there.

We were offered a seat of our choice. We have dietary requirements. Ie gluten free meals were available and the gnocchi was home made. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were all happy with our meals. Thank you. :)

It was nice I had the gnocchi with seafood. Would try pizza next time . Close to home so very convenient. Will come Again sometime.

It was a good atmosphere and overall good meals. I ordered the pizza which was a decent size and filling. My friend ordered a pasta and it looked delicious! Great place!
