A great Italian meal at a favourite local, service is always very good

Everything was fantastic. The relaxed welcoming atmosphere, the friendly but discreet service, the delicious food in sumptuous portions. A wonderful evening out at a reasonable price.

First time visiting this great little Italian gem. Fabulous menu selections & good small drinks menu. We didn’t realise it was BYO. Excellent service. We’ll be back.

Always love going to Il Perugino. Light fluffy stuffed Zucchini flowers followed by a perfectly cooked duck leg confit (crispy skin and moist duck meat!). Always great service. A local gem!

Lovely, cosy restaurant. Fegatini was tasty! Montepulciano wine was gorgeous.

For the price I’ve had better food, we had to keep asking for water and no salt and pepper grinders. They were friendly and it was pleasant but not amazing.

The food was amazing as usual! The calamari and the scallops were divine!

We have eaten here a few times & are always impressed with the food & service. Its a very busy restaurant & can get noisy but we had a most enjoyable evening and appreciate bringing our own wine.

It was my first time coming to this place even though my family kept suggesting it and I have finally made it. I would definitely want to visit another time. The food was just AMAZING! We ended up feeling super full, but it was good kinda full, no regrets. To begin with, we had a glass of Prosecco (who doesn't like Prosecco to start with?! haha) with the yellow tuna carpaccio and my favourite capers on top. It was a very light appetiser but I want more!!! We then basically got all the "Today's Specials": the rigatoni with pork sausage and cheese was just yum!! Alongside with the rigatoni, we had the chewy version of "tagliatelle" (I don’t know the Italian name, sorry) with octopus and a hint of chilli. I've never had this kinda pasta before, it was just so good. The octopus was cooked to tender, not toooo hard which I really like. We then had the duck confit. It was just divine cuz the skin was crispy, which I didn't expect. It is different from the French style. The meat was tender, falling off the bone. The potato gratin stood out from the dish as well. We also had a glass of Chianti to pair up with the meat. We were brave enough to have ordered the whole baby snapper. The fish was cooked just right, very tender meat. You just need to be careful with the bones. Last but not least, we finished our meal with a lemon cheesecake. The only negative I would say is that it would get a little bit noisier after 8pm, but who doesn't like a good laugh when you are having divine food and lovely family and friends by your side?! I just can't wait to try other dishes next time!
