Ishiyama in Campsie is one of the most charming Japanese restaurants we know of in this part of Sydney. On Beamish Street, literally next to the main Campsie station, everything at Ishiyama is just right, from the restaurant interior through to the impressive food on the menu. Chef Koji Ishiyama – yes, the restaurant is named after the head chef who opened it – takes a modern approach to traditional Japanese dining and strives to ensure quality with every dish. You can can expect sushi, sashimi, tempura, donburi, ramen, Japanese curry, udon and soba all cooked with aplomb. Ishiyama Japanese Dining is a gem in this part of Sydney and we can’t recommend it enough. Reservations are essential.

One of our favorite Japanese restaurants in Campsie. Sashimi always quite fresh. Better value in their lunch time menu though.
Lovely food and we love your new premises, delicious salmon nigiri
