Italy 528 has been a favourite of ours for years. The food is authentic and delicious and the staff are so delightful. I love this place.

Ab fab dining here as always. We had 7 plates between 4 people. Bruschetta - delicious as usual with the freshest ingredients including the bread, which was grilled to perfection Prosciutto & Burrata - Prosciutto just the perfect creamy texture, fatty and meaty enough, sliced thinly that complements the burrata. Cured Meat Platter - great for anyone wanting to sample all the cured meats. Fresh. Served with Kalamata and Green olives Pasta - the BEST I've had yet. Original and authentic recipe. Simple with complex flavours Pizza - Thin, crispy base with a perfectly moist top. Crust is great to eat Dessert (Tart) - Apricot, my fav so far. Dessert (Cake) - Would not have known it was flourless if we weren't told. Tastes like a firmer but moist brownie. Not too sweet, nice and crispy "shell". Always worth the drive for us to Ascot Vale for authentic italian cuisine!

The food is always on point, real home quality cooking at Italy 528. The gnocchi is something else & the pizzas are just like what you’d get in Italy. I only wish they stayed open a little later. <3
