Ivanhoe Hotel Manly

Ivanhoe hotel was a complete disappointed. The entire venue hasn’t been cleaned and it feels as dirty and unwelcoming as the customer service. The food once we received after multiple requests and confusion was adequate.

Had a great time. Fabulous food and terrific service. Thank you!

My friends and I enjoyed our visit to the Ivanhoe Hotel. There were 7 of us and we had a variety of food, and all had a lovely meal.

The decor has been revamped and the menu updated. A very pleasant dining experience.

Placed a reservation for dining rm but no one checked app or laptop. Then wanted to place us next to music. It was 6pm and we were there to enjoy conversation and food on Christmas Eve. It was not busy!

Food good however a little uncomfortable with the air con not working

Look, our group had an OK time, but it was only because they came in early and grabbed a table at the back …..and when I rocked up and said there was a table under my name, I basically got shrugged shoulders from the staff member. So we just kept sitting at the table where we were at.!

Bruchetta was bread was cold and soggy Chips were clupmed together Will not eat here again, what has gone wrong was never this bad

Garlic bread nice. Schnitzel ok...chips luke warm. Beef pie...soft soggy pastry...mash good but only about 6 peas.

Food is good and staff friendly, only downside is that parking is very restricted to get to the venue

Had a wonderful lunch with our fellow neibours. Loved the musician who started at 2.30 it was a great atmosphere.

I asked for a reserved table on the balcony upstairs and there it was. All set up and clear. Great spot for people watching (Corso below us), nicely heated and not too loud. Bar service and food quality excellent. A great spot for the middle of winter night out. Thanks guys.

Most people enjoyed their meals but there was a lot if confusion when the meals were brought out resulting in some people getting the wrong meal.It also was not obvious as to our table numbers and that contributed to the confusion.

We ordered fish and chips and the fish was well over cooked, the medium rare steak came out very rare but they did recoil it and it was nice. The service was good and friendly but I wouldn’t rush back to eat.

Didn’t eat this time but always a great atmosphere on a Tuesday at the Ivanhoe. The renovations have compromise the space considerably, so really looking forward to that being finished.
