Have read bad reviews of late but I can honestly say we couldn’t fault the food or the service. Staff were friendly and food was great. Thank you.

Excellent menu selection, all food that I have had has been very good. They also have a very good wine list and the atmosphere is very freindly

Lovely staff, good food, fair prices. Clean toilets. Area for the kids. Lots of road works so a bit tricky to get into the car park.

Have been for dinner a few times. Have tried a variety of dishes. Food is delicious and service is always great. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Needs a repaint in there. Staff are friendly. The place is clean. Service was good, food was hot, and tasty and all food and drinks came out together. A firm local favourite. Keep up the standard.

this was the first time we've dined here. We came here for dinner. Waitering service is fantastic. Well our waitress was fantastic. The portions are huge! The salt and pepper calamari are exceptional!! they are tender on the inside crispy on the outside, no chewy bits!! The beef cheek, soooo soft and tender, can do with a bit more depth of flavour, but it was the better of the dishes we ordered. My kid says her chicken snitzel was delicious. Satay Chicken Entree was a let down, actually chicken curry with some awful rice. Warning do not order anything with garlic. Garlic Prawns entree, taking a few more, say 10 seconds cook out your garlic wont hurt chefs! The garlic is raw and there is alot of raw garlic in the garlic prawns. I was left with garlic breath that night through to next night whenever I breathe. It was hard sleeping and smelling garlic breathe. So thats 3 mouth washes and it was still that bad. Fish and Chip, the batter here is really nice, but shame that the fish itself is a let down, basa fillets. Not a fan of Basa, but my MIL she loves Basa and she thinks this was great, so for anyone who doesnt really enjoy fish, this fish and chip be perfect as the fish taste is very light. Personally I like at least a whiting or personal favourite king george whiting. Chicken Veal Scallopini, the chicken was very tender, this dish would have been really good if it wasnt for the overwhelming raw garlic taste once again. Seriously the chefs just need to take a few more seconds to cook out the garlic. So 1 exceptional dish that night and.it was the salt and pepper calamari. 2 very good dish the beef cheeks and chicken snitzel, and 2 dishes that would be good if the garlic was cooked out, which made it pretty awful. and 1 dish is not what it is supposed to be, remaning it to a curry would be more correct. But we will be back for the calamari. That was a exceptional calamari dish! Oh and their moscato is yum, sweet but yum. Dinner, theie entree size is what i would call main and their main is what i call a main and a half. its soooo huge.

So we came back again after a few days, that calamari really is so good we couldnt stay away. This time we came in for lunch and brought in our 90 year grandma, who always say she dont like western food. Well I can tell you she enjoyed every morsel of her salt and pepper calamari and fish and chips. She doesnt like fish and doesnt eat fish, but she thoroughly enjoyed this. As I reviewed earlier, its basa and its very light tasting fish, very suitable for anyone who doesnt enjoy the taste of fish. We had the pork ribs. Too much meat on these ribs so it was very dry. I had the bubblies, nice and strong, was yum. hubby had the moscato again he really enjoyed this moscato. Serving size wise, there is a difference in the size. I would say it a third of the dinner size serving, hence the bigger price difference. Lunch size serving is the perfect serving size for me, i can finish entree, main and have dessert and glass of wine. dinner size is 3 times too much for me. and downing a bottle of moscato with hubby was pretty good. The moscato is light so its not strong like the champagne. waitress was helpful. we will be back, i got my eye on those seafood rissoto, hopefully no raw garlic.

The food was fantastic and the service was good. The venue was very easy to find and access. The cost was also very competitive and the menu offered a good variety of food.

Good and prompt service by the wait staff. The kitchen and wait staff were able to cater to my dietary needs which was fantastic...it was a good night out...

Food was great. Wait staff were disruptive to conversation...asked over 6 times if we wanted to order drinks. And then obviously wanted us to leave at 9:30 so they could go home.

Lovely evening a warm friendly welcome Excellent food reasonable price and great and helpful waitress. Highly recommend the antipasto platter Its huge with oysters calamari ham salami feta dip and the best sundried tomatoes ever. Definitely go there much better than nestby mansion!

Went there for my birthday. Great food everyone (6 of us) loved their meal and the service was also great, even though they were busy, we never waited long for drinks orto order anything. Will definitely return.

This restaurant has a nice ambience. There is a good selection on the menu at a reasonable price. The staff were attentive without being pushy. A very pleasant experience.

Food was extremely overpriced, duck was over cooked and my medium rare steak was closer to medium/ well done. The wait staff leaned across us all to put the food on the table and the bill at the end of the night was incorrect. Won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and surroundings. Staff are very friendly, the food and the wine is the best we have Ever had and the price is also amazing. Perfect.

Absolutely wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. I had the chicken and avocado risotto and hubby had the rib eye. Both were incredible. Also the Jacksons Ale is worth a try, really smooth!

It has a great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful. Neat casual attire so you can get dressed up without having to go all the way. Heaps of parking and you can even so hello to their talking cockatoo on the way in. We love it

Very attentive staff, great food, good price. We had to be finished our dining by a certain time, and the staff were very willing to accommodate this request, even suggesting which meals would take longer to cook.

First time at Jackson’s on K, the service and food were fantastic. I had the Lamb Shanks which were superb along with the sharing antipasto plate. Both were good sized serves. 2 things that let the restaurant down were, we ordered a small bread loaf which was fantastic and up until then everything had been presented very well however accompanying the bread was cheap butter in a pre packaged container. Like you would find with airline food. Really let you down. The other was after asking for the bill (which came) we sat for 15 min waiting for it to be collected. I had to go find a staff to pay the bill. Overall these are just small things. Definitely will come back.

Great decor, the food is excellent and the prices are fair. Also, the service was great too, sometimes the service can ruin a meal but the girls were very professional and polite. They made my mums birthday lunch a success. Very happy.

Food was amazing but service left a little to be desired. E.g. People standing at a desk right at the entrance aren't there to greet you or seat you, instead they send you to the bar to wait to be seated, standing at the bar means your in the way of the waiters bringing out the food from kitchen. Made my friends & I feel quite awkward.

We had a wonderful meal at Jackson on K road. The staff explained that there was a large group to be seated near us and we could move if we liked but we decided to sit near them. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere. The food is declicious. I had the two course meal. The entree of Calamari was perfect the prawns yummy. Highly recommend

Food was poor and expensive for what you get. Even the drinks weren't good, I dont know how thats even possible to get a coke and raspberry wrong?

We had an enjoyable experience with good food and very good service BUT we were not happy with various children running around and the overall level of noise.

Food was good, enjoyed the lamb rack very much. Atmosphere was relaxing and the playground was a bonus to keep the kids entertained while waiting for the food.

Food was amazing, very generous portions. I had the lamb shanks & my husband had the beef & reef. Definitely get value for money. The panacotta was exquisitely smooth & tasty with the berry coulis. Can’t fault it. Service was great. Couldn’t fault on anything.

Wonderful service and lovely food, I would highly recommended Jackson on k to anyone. Was family friendly as well. Watch out for the location it is right on a corner road but ample parking.

Cosy and friendly. Food servings generous. Easy parking. Good cocktail and wine list. Food quality sort of pub like. The surf bit of the surf and turf was ordinary and in a very gluggy chalky sauce. Pork belly by comparison was beautiful, and the rest of the tables dishes were tasty.

Reasonably priced and generous serving, convenient and free parking. Food fresh and delish, staffs friendly and attentive. Warm, inviting and comfortable ambiance. Varied wine and cocktail list. Close to the road but you can’t hear the traffic.
