The food was delicious, mouthwatering and nicely presented. Our service was impeccable and the food arrived in a very timely manner. The ambience is modern and warm with sound reduction panelling to offset the wooden floorboards.Not to mention a rare gem with respect to pricing. A must try.😃

Our family has been visiting Shirley's Japan Inn for just over 27 years and the food has always been consistently fantastic. Always fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. Recent fitout upgrades have really freshened the interiors. Shirley is a fantastic host and we love the place. The Moriowase combination plates are sensational.

The Japan Inn has been a favourite of ours for 28 years and with the new renovations and sound proofing, it is an amazing experience. The japanese food is second to none as always.

This place has the best food & the service was excellent. We had the Banquet tonight, which had a wonderful variety of food. BYO wine & some of our party ordered drinks, which was at a reasonable price. I couldn’t eat any more, it was very filling. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely delicious. Only comment is the portion sizes for the mains in the banquet were a bit small . Otherwise an excellent meal and lovely service.

They have had an interior upgrade and is fresh with a nice ambience, good as always is very delicious and can never fault it.

All was pretty good. Salad was amazing , sushi and sashimi awesome, Duck teriyake was a bit tough. service was very efficient and friendly. was a quiet night in the restaurant.

A pleasure to visit this local Japanese restaurant especially after its facelift/renovation. Much brighter decor with soft lighting and variety of seating options.

Love Japan Inn’s food. Absolutely delicious. It’s always very busy, and can get noisy, but that’s probably because the food is exceptional.
