We have always enjoyed the food there and a place that we would recommend to others!
Jinda thai never disappoints! Food is amazing as always! I would come back everyday if I could. It’s a must stop place when my cousin visits from Sydney. If you’re looking for jungle curry, jinda has the best one!
it was a family dinner and we were all very happy with the food and service. Place was a little noisy and tight but the food just compensate everything
I always bring my friends to Jinda. The best Thai food I've tried so far in Melbourne!
Jinda Thai Restaurant is a very happening place, the service is slow due to the amount of people who are there. so take this into account. You will have to wait, yes, it's that busy. The food does come out in small portions, but don't think too small, as you will over order. Don't forget the kitchen has more of what you like and you can order more anytime. How good is the food, yeah? For my group of 18 mixed from around the globe, we all loved it, full of flavour and spice. The good thing is because the small serves you can quickly get the plates on and off the table. The overall cost is very good for the quality of food. Everything is fresh. For our group including a bottle of wine and a beer, we came out at approx $30/head. For the type of restaurant this is, this is very, very good valve. As the vibe in the restaurant is happy and lively, you are buoyed by this and you also are happier. The staff are very accommodating and happy to serve you. The place is noisy but that's due to everyone enjoying themselves. Great place to be.
Need to ensure you book online or call as I did for a Friday evening at 8:00pm. Arrived 5 minutes early and was seated at our table when we arrived. People were queued at the entry waiting to obtain a table. So it was busy and tables were never empty. Decor is great and service was excellent. Food was delicious with full of flavour and reasonably priced. If you enjoy Thai food I recommend that you must try this place. Will visit again.
The warmest of welcomes from Amm & Bee continued with outstanding service. Their recommendations were appreciated, absolutely delicious food, from classic fish cakes, rice paper rolls to Steamed Barramundi and Duck Curry. Sauces were especially insane, we had the best long girls lunch and can’t wait to return. A true iconic Melbourne dining experience and the best Thai in Victoria!
Having spent a few years living in Thailand, we are fussy about our Thai food. Jinda is our favourite Thai restaurant in a Melbourne and this meal didn’t disappoint. Rice paper rolls, pra hoy (oysters), steamed fish with chilli, lime and garlic, deep fried Barra with apple salad. Yum!
The only reason for not perfect score, because food is amazing here is that we had booked and still got seated at table by the door which does have a real cold draught every time the door opens. Other than that it was fantastic. It isn’t a quiet romantic restaurant but excellent food and great venue formwith friends.
Excellent food - favourites were the crispy tofu & battered chicken with cashew nuts. Also, the pandas crepe cake was delicious! We were seated near the door which wasn’t great due to the cold wind anytime someone entered or left. But the staff were polite and attentive and pretty quick to action any requests. Definitely coming back.
