Jin's Teahouse

Food, service, atmosphere were all good. Nothing to fault but also nothing particularly stand out. Good for a group dinner.

We loved our visit and look forward to returning again.

Very perfect food, I like the crab fried rice with fish roe. The fruit wood smoked duck is also yummy, I really like it.

Six of us booked on a busy Friday night 8pm and the table was ready when we got there. We opted for Bronze Banquet and added two more dishes. Overall, they were all delicious but the Bronze Banquet was “fried food” heavy. It would be great if Jin can introduce Asian Salads (opposed to stir fried vegetables) to the menu as we all love the fried dishes but really need some freshness to pair with the food. Service was friendly, the only thing was our fried rice arrived almost 10 mins before our meals. It was after 8:30pm so restaurant was not at its peak time. Overall, we had an enjoyable evening, this was my 2nd visit and I would return again.

We had the deluxe banquet, innovative and really tasty food, some great cocktails (the smokey ones were quite dramatic!) and a couple of bottles of excellent wine. The service was excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Loved it

We had a fabulous time! Food was absolutely amazing. We got the spring rolls, beef in black bean and kung pao chicken with fried rice. We also got the love on the house dessert which was delicious. We got a tea and I got the 'smoke cocktail', wow it was impressive, make sure to catch it on video as they pour it. Thanks again!

Fabulous birthday celebration night! The food was excellent – again, I've been once before just after it opened – service wonderful (friendly but not intrusive) – and professional, and such a lovely atmosphere. And they gave us a small birthday treat while playing "Happy Birthday" music! Terrific.

Nice presentation of dishes, reasonable price and stylish decors. Some hit and miss. Duck and chicken meat of the entree dishes a bit dry and hard to chew. Eggplants and prawns main dishes were delicious. Nice desserts too. Good selection of cocktails but will be great if can offer mocktails in the future for my non-alcoholic guest.

First time here and I was very impressed! Great food, beautiful restaurant and wonderful service. We were even allowed to taste test new dumplings. I’d go back!

Beautiful restaurant located on the Main Street of Newtown, all dishes are well presented, and the tea tastes obviously better than other Chinese restaurants. It is, just from my view, a little bit pricy. We came in as a group of 3 and shared around 40 each person after a 20%discount. But anyway, it is a place worth trying
