More about the restaurant: Juno and May
Camberwell has added a seriously bushy feather to its culinary cap with the opening of Juno and May on Burke Road, a casual contemporary restaurant fusing modern Australian cuisine with international elements. Inspired by Thai and Vietnamese flavours, with some Middle Eastern and Italian influence thrown in, Juno and May boasts a veritable smorgasbord of delicious food. The amazing menu is too broad and diverse to deliver here, but for a quick cross-section take crispy tapioca prawn wrapped in betel leaf, some spaghettini with blue swimmer crab, a Moroccan curry of slow-cooked lamb with almonds and raisins, and an exquisite Balinese curry with crispy fish. Don’t forget about their vegetarian dishes, succulent sweet dishes and gluten-free options, either. But most of all, don’t forget to book, because the secret is already out.
