Kazbah - Darling Harbour

Great cocktails and food. Portions are generous and great for sharing. They also had a lunch special menu and happy hour drinks menu for the more budget conscience. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My friend wanted her cocktail less sweet and they remembered that each time she ordered it with no issues. Would go there again for sure.

We come to Kazbah every year for our anniversary, it was the 4th year on Saturday the Kazbah staff were Awesome we even got a surprise 'Happy Anniversary' dessert!

It is a great resturant with a beautiful view and nice people. I relly enjoyed the Arabic food there. It is a great experience 😀

I booked this time to take visitors, we had been before as a couple and had a good experience but I read some less than favourable reviews that did not match with my own. Glad I trusted my own judgement, I'm even more puzzled by those reviews now as both food and service were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful with our food choices. They even put up with me ordering a bottle of prosecco and then having second thoughts - they opened it for me to taste, saying they serve it by the glass so not a problem if I didn't like it (it was a bit sweet for my taste so I ordered a different one). For a place that doesn't even pretend to be fine dining I thought that was above and beyond.

Excellent food with an authentic middle eastern flavour. Very fast service and friendly staff. Big range on the menu to suit all. Great location and views of darling harbour

Nice food, great customer service and hospitallity , but shisha was a bit too strong for my liking, overall would go back again definitely 😊

Beautiful ambience. delicious food, attentive staff. This was our first visit to Kazbah along with some friends. All of us enjoyed the food & the music.

Fantastic food but understaffed. When we went to pay at the till, people were queuing there to order drinks and being told to sit back down.

The Food was amazing! Even though everything was so good, The ribs and chicken kebab were to die for. I cannot wait to be able to go back again.

What an amazing night, food and service were great especially the manager Vinni, he went pass and beyond to make our night memorable so thank you very much. Oh and the icing on the cake was moving outside for a Shisha, coffee and Cognac, Wow Wow Wow...

Generally the food is good and is kind of fusion style not traditional which me and my family really like it. The service is good as well. Environment is good.

Great service, food came out faster than expected given how busy they were. Very well balanced flavours with punch! Serving size of mezze plates could have been more generous but we were satisfied and full at the end - would come back again :)

The food was great, the staff very attentive and helpful - clearly explained menu items, quick to refill glasses and bring food to table. Very enjoyable evening.

Terrible service. I was shocked, I did expect it to be a little better. The man kept on pushing for drinks. We were waiting at the door for about 10 mins, no one served us. In the end we ordered the tangines which were amazing. However for the location and expectation I was very dissapointed.

Was there on a Friday night. Good food as expected! Music was too loud and they need more waiters! Prefer the other branch in balmain.

After watching people who had been seated after us receive menus and their order almost immediately, we had then proceeded to ask for a menu for 2 people, whereby only one was handed to us. While we were understanding the venue was quite busy, however by the time we received our argileh, we had noticed no smoke was coming out, where we naturally checked to see how much tobacco was placed into the orange head we had initially paid for. After seeing 1/4 to half of the orange head filled up, we asked a staff member (which will remain unnamed), to have a look and confirm that a lot of tobacco was in fact missing. This staff member then brought over the employee who was looking after the outdoor section and insisted he would know a lot more about it, impying that we did not know what we were talking about. Following the 2nd staff members humiliating attempt to revive the argileh, he realised that we were in fact correct and that there was half a head of tobacco missing, and not distributed evenly. By the time our second argileh had arrived, we had been sitting there for a total of 1 hour. Overall, after experiencing many argileh and shisha venues, as well as being brought up by our culture to know how to make a half-decent argileh, it had come to our attention that there was little to no knowledge about shisha, the service was sloppy and somewhat patronising, and it seems that the Kazbah needs a little bit of competition within the Darling Harbour vicinity to pull the staff back into place. Perhaps I will have to experience the other locations before I completely write it off.

Lovely service at welcome and throughout the night. Restaurant goes long lengths to provide a good experience. Big servings though. We had a lovely night.

A lovely time was had by all 6 guests who celebrated a girlfriend's birthday at Kazbah-Darling Harbour. The food was delicious especially the chicken tagine, the waiter friendly and efficient, the decor was appealing and the complimentary homemade turkish delight that accompanied our after dinner coffee was a nice treat.

Was a fantastic experience with a great view as well as kind staff. Will come back to enjoy the great food once more thanks Kazbah.

Amazing food with great staff and ambiance in the restaurant.. Definitely recommend to others and take friends to this restaurant another time. Highly recommend to anyone.

The best part of the meal was the share bread and dip board, the rest wasn't worth the price, small portions are fine if there is quality but my beef was very fatty and potatoes supposed to be garlicy were not at all. Service was great.

The food was nice and service was great at times. Our experience would have improved if we had a table with a view but we were at the back of the restaurant.

I know it's a busy environment but your staff look stressed and busy. Good food and internal deco. Next time will definitely try the sheesha!

Nice atmosphere but we didn't get to enjoy it. Table next to us were smoking shisha, the smoke was not good, irritating,affected my dads asthma

Service was not the best and the food was overpriced for what you receive. The flavour of the food was great though and there was a variety on the menu however it was quite costly for just the two of us..

The lamb and the Baklava is to die for!! Loved the service and the vibe in there....perfect place for family or work catchups! Thanks a lot

Great service and great food. Week night so it wasn't too busy and they personalised my boyfriends dessert for his birthday. Really pleasant night out.

Lovely service, very flexible when our group was smaller than booked. Service was overall attentive, sometimes a bit difficult to get the attention. Food was excellent.

Bad service!! I've been a fan of kazbah for years but never again. It seemed like the waiter was doing a favour by taking our order. When we did get the food - it was cold! Worst tiramisu I have ever had... This place has really gone down hill which is such a shame :(

Fantastic place! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. And the dessert with the fried dates was so out of this world. We're already planning our next meal there.

The chicken Shish kebab was lovely and service good. A table by the window gave us a great view of the Darling Harbour light show during Vivid.

The food was really nice, so were the staff, just a bit disorganised, a few times someone turned up at our table with drinks that weren't ours and vice versa

The food was okay, nothing special. Definitely overpriced for what it was though. The meat was quite fatty and the portions quite small for the price.

Vinnie the Manager and his staff where friendly and helpful. I told him that it was my husbands birthday and he came out with a beautiful plate with happy birthday and 5 baklava's for the 5 of us. Very happy results.
