Kobe Teppanyaki - Melbourne

Always has good authentic food and good service at a reasonable price. I prefer a la carte to Teppanyaki. Also has a private room for a group.

Service was disappointing. We waited over 20 minuets for our last main meal in the banquet. Spoilt the night. Food is good and fresh. Thanks

Great food and service nice atmosphere we had a la carte menu it was delicious. One of my guest was allergic to egg and they cater for her with minimum fuss. Highly recommended.

Nice australianised Japanese menu. Definitely not authentic but most of it was nicely presented and catching the omelette and rice in bowls was a hoot. Had fun there for a birthday.

Excellent food, atmosphere, service, decor and choices. A fantastic evening with my partner and great to enjoy the company of other customers who were also enjoying their night out. All the staff were professional, friendly, accommodating and made for a great experience. We will definitely be back - thankyou Kobe Teppanyaki.

We love going here. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is fantastic! Our kids love to watch the cooking and the kids menu.

Food was absolutely fantastic. Service was maybe a little bit rushed. Food came too quick - we were in and out in about 90 mins.

Very nice food and good service. Not that busy but staff were friendly and courteous. Could have done more to control the unruly children running amok which spoilt an otherwise enjoyable evening

Food delicious. Service great. However, did not get the crispy Prawn legs (they cooked them and took them away) and no display of chopping the egg omelette. Also got soup half way through our main meal and salad arrived just before desserts.

Great food. But being asked to tip the chef at the time to pay, was a little strange... I did, and I wonder if the chef actually received it...

Had teppenyaki and it was fantastic. Added scallops which were absolutely amazing along with the rest of the food. Chef was great and a really nice guy - had a great time there.

Quality and taste excellent, great service always feel comfortable. Would have preferred quality chopsticks rather than disposable... We have had teppanyaki many times, chefs always fun. Opted for quiet a la carte dinner this time.

Took some friends who enjoyed the Kobe experience for the first time. Good food and staff were friendly I Would recommend this restaurant and it is BYO as well.

Good fun, our 3 and 6yr olds enjoyed as did hubby and I. Actually felt like too much food - 2 adult set menus and 2 kids menus ... not sure if you can choose not to have 1 of the kids meals, might be worth asking. Would go again.

We loved Kobe! They accommodated perfectly for food intolerances and allergies as well as brilliant service and entertainment. The food tasted fresh, and flavoursome and the ambiance was family friendly for those wishing to take their kids. It may cost a little more than a meal at some restaurants however you most definitely get value for money! I plan another trip to Kobe with my kids next time as I tried it out first with a friend.

This is a pretty standard teppanyaki restaurant, but the staff are very good at what they do. Service was quick, and ages 8-74 all had fun.

Staff very friendly and a good selection on the menu. The food was fresh and very well presented. We went as a group and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Really great. Our first time here but we will be back. The food was excellent and service quiet and efficient. The decor is relaxing with plenty of room between tables and although it was busy there was not a lot of noise. Delightful..

Very expensive for what you get. Your experience also depends on the engagement of the chef - ours was just ok while next door in another table, there was one hat was very active and entertaining

Food was very good and the menu was extensive. A friend has dietary restrictions and they were very helpful with menu suggestions. BYO was a plus but we were disappointed that it did not cover the bottle of Sake we also bough . I was told it was "BYO wine only" but I always thought Sake was rice based wine. Regardless, it was a lovely meal.

The service wasn't that great, e.g. kept us waiting befor offering a seat and bringing the menu. Busy and not relaxed atmosphere. Really great food but overpriced

Went there for dinner and had the Kobe Teppanyaki buffet. The cook was great, very funny and skilled. All the food was great and will definitely go back!

We were there on a Saturday night and although we had to wait about 15 minutes for our table it was well worth it. We had the Tokyo banquet, which was fantastic. The food was amazing, the service was great, we will definately be back!!!
