The food was absolutely wonderful. The view was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. I’d go back in a heartbeat. They book out quite fast so be sure to plan ahead.
family of 9, meal great, only one point of interest for you the sweet pancake with the savory breakfast didnt work for 3 of us
Awesome service, food was great. Very authentic Italian. 5/6 rating rather than 6/6 because it is slightly expensive. If entertainment book discount or similar was available it would be perfect. 👌
Awesome pizza, pasta and atmosphere however the wait time between receiving our entree and main meal was pretty slow. Overall was a great experience and will definitely be returning.
No complaints. Lovely view at sunset over the ocean. Polite, friendly servers. Delish food! Had the aranchini, bruschetta, steak and a pasta all very nice.
The food is excellent and the prices are fair. The staff is friendly and professional, the view is fantastic, perfect place to enjoy an authentic Italian meal.
Staff were excellent and attentive. Unfortunately my fish was undercooked and sent back. (It was a few days before xmas and very busy). Very impressed that the restaurant didn’t try to charge me for the dish.
My sons took me to La Capannina - my first visit. It was sadly the first anniversary of my husbands death and they wanted to make it as good a day as it could be by doing something special. The atmosphere was lovely, view to die for, staff friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. It delivered!
Delightful dining experience. Attentive welcoming waiter staff, beautifully presented tasty food, West Australian location!! Recipe for success. Most happy to recommend. See you next time.
Lovely food and friendly service. Overall very happy with our experience. It was a very hot day and the AC was struggling but not surprising as it was a full house.
We went on the Friday before Christmas so very busy loud and hot. But the waiters were very attentive and very Italian which is a good thing! Food was excellent.
Third time back. The staff are fabulous and food is great. Nice buzzy vibe and beautiful outlook over the beach. Will dine more often. Parking is an issue at Scarborough.
Great service and well priced excellent food. Ambience exceeded expectations, buzzy but not annoyingly noisy. Will return over the coming summer. Interesting wine list but maybe should be better priced.
Wonderful food, beautiful view and excellent friendly and quick service! I’d highly recommend this place for a date night or catch up with friends! We will be back again for sure!
Great views, helpful and friendly staff and delicious food. Extensive drinks list. Book a table in advance as they can get quite busy. Would recommend!
Very average food such a shame as it is in such a nice setting and location. The Bruscheta was merely chopped tomato on Italian bread no seasoning and the pasta was stuck together and the sauce was bland and under seasoned. They did take 10% off our bill! We won’t be back. Their is a great italian just up on Guildercliff called Pizzaca that one I would recommend, especially the Pappardelle Ragu!
Water and a second glass of wine ordered were never delivered. I wasn’t hugely impressed with the food either. The view looks lovely so may consider trying a breakfast to see if that’s a better time to go.
Food was good but portion size too small. Atmosphere was loud and uncomfortable. Service was confused and disjointed. They offered free coffee and canoli's as restitution.
Delish as always. Beautiful food and view and company was even more special as it was our Christmas celebration. Thank you La Cap a Nina
Amazing food and awesome service Will definitely be back Authentic Italian food and the venue is also amazing The affogato was incredible as was the squid ink pasta
The food was average, slow service and the menu was hard to read with the font. Shame about it, as I am a local and would love to have great restaurants close by. The view was amazing though.
Excellent food, attentive staff and great location made it a very enjoyable occasion.Shall very likely book this great restaurant again sometime in the near future.
Very busy so orders were a bit slow coming out, food was excellent when it did arrive and the service was excellent, friendly and attentive, what a view!!!!
Forgot part of our entree, took 2 hours to get mains, wouldn’t split the bill, was very noisy and hot, drinks service very very slow, no offer of dessert or coffee. Wouldn’t waste my time going back.
Gnocci were simply bad in texture (squishy) and sauce tasted like out of a cheap can. Bad as it gets. Starter served after main dish. Noisy atmosphere makes you shout sitting at a table of two. Nice location & view bit not worth the money
The food are wonderful and the staff are very friendly. My guests commented that they will come again. A lot of choices on the menu
Food & service couldn't fault but one at table ordered thesea food and the crayfish was empty another ordered same & had flesh in shell😏apart from that it was great
Very nice food and service. Great atmosphere and interesting choice of wines. The only negative thing is probably the table size. Table for couples are quite small.
We dined here with a party of 8 enjoyed the experience overall, food was great but pricing of the bottles of wines were very expensive.
Service VERY slow - tables who came in after us finished their meal before we received ours! Food was good but was it worth the wait???
Seemed really understaffed - We have to wait 20 mins for water when we first arrived, and when we asked for a refill we were scoffed at by the waitress and ended up having to ask again before it was refilled. The coffee and food both took a long time to arrive, after which we had to search for silverware and salt and pepper before we could eat. The food was so-so for the price. I probaby won't be going back except for a take-away coffee/snack.
Food was lovely, ambience was nice a bit loud, but service was only fair and slow. I know it was busy, but we were not loved / felt special, as we had several wait staff.
It was just an average meal. It’s a concern when we ate all the pizza but left some of the slow cooked octopus which was in such a thick tomatoe based sauce you could really taste anything else.
Delicious food. Great range of price points. A bit noisy. Will definitely recommend. Looking forward to trying a pizza next time. They looked and smelled fabulous.
We all enjoyed the good food & great service. Great location, the atmosphere was fantastic. Staff where present when needed but didn’t hover, which was great.
1 Parking was appalling-so bad one member of party nearly gave up and go home after 45 mins of driving around. Had to call on family member to meet her in residential street where she parked and then dropped her off! 2 During the evening service at least 3 episodes of glasses/plates or other dropped noisily by staff 3 No separate billing- disadvantages those whose meal/drink costs less-very annoying
Food was great, drinks a little expensive but enjoyable evening overall Tables squashed in a bit too much so walking in and out not easy. Toilets were very clean and nicely decorated.
Impressive location overlooking the ocean and very nice ambience. Friendly, pleasant staff and food pretty good too. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Very impressed and will be back.
Great food great service and view will definitely go back and also recommend to my friends. We had the seafood tonight as mains and it was fresh and beautifully cooked well done chef😁
Lovely view but the ambience didn't suit our age group. Very noisy. Why restaurants have unsuitable music playing in the background when there is so much noise from patrons anyway, beats me.
Excellent view of the ocean and sunset, great food and wine selection and service. Highly recommended this restaurant for a couples night out or with the family.
We had a client lunch at La Capannina. The food was delicious, the cocktails so refreshing and the view stunning! The interiors are really cool, and a bit different to the cliche restaurant look. Only downside was that the parking is 2hrs and we would have liked to stay longer!
We had such a great experience dining at La Capannina. The food was incredible. We enjoyed the arancini, antipasti platter and each had a pasta (I had the tagliatelle) which were all high quality dishes and super delicious. The service was excellent, and the view was amazing. I’d highly recommend, we will definitely be back!
Service was fantastic. Great views, roomy restaurant on the beach. Lots of variety on menu. Good quality Italian food at a reasonable price. Definitely recommended
Hands down the best authentic Italian pizza in Perth! Wonderful seafood and baked camembert was divine, service was friendly, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend La Capannina. It was simply BUONISSIMO!!
Great restaurant! Love the food ! The prices are a bit expensive! They could be better but the service and food were good ! I do like the Italian wine list too
The food was great especially grilled seafood dish. Service was excellent - friendly and attentive. The only down side was the venue acoustics which made conversation difficult
Noice level was pretty good considering how busy it was
Great food and service, wine recommendation from Riccardo was perfect, we had a few bottles of red and white for the table. Everyone had a great time
Lovely place, coming there often for a pizza. What frustrates is inability to talk normally with people around your table. Way too noisy. Would be a great idea to perhaps have a separate space tucked away so people can book a quieter spot for dining. Also, pasta dishes are too many. i have tried some, but they all taste same. Pizza is very nice.
