Service, entree and kids meals were great but adult mains were very disappointing - tasteless and watery pasta as well as pork belly that was more fat than meat and served with cold vegetables.

Great setting. Food good but couldn’t taste chilli in the dish that stated it contained chilli. Staff were very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant

Ahhhhmazing food ahmazing service ahmazing atmosphere will go back again and again My only mention is to leave the bread out of the mussels as we pay for a bowl of mussels not a bowl of bread and muscles but everything else is 10 out of 10 I just love this place everything is tasty and fresh

Excellent experience. The waiters are to be commended. Very attentive and great service. The food was well presented and very good. Will definitely go there again.

Great service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Lovely fresh, authentic Italian food. Big serves, even children’s pizzas were a decent size. Good atmosphere, would recommend.

Fabulous setting. Excellent menu, good wine list. Very tasty food. Great friendly service. Great experience unfortunately spoilt by too noizy inside, bad acoustics making it really difficult for conversation.

Staff were attentive and worked hard and great and made it a special lunch for my 93 year old mother. Food service a bit slow but we will go back.

We had a late booking and were seated about 8.50. The front of house lady brought us glasses but no water and then we had to wait too long for service. At 9.10 I had to get up and ask a waiter for service. He was apologetic and also very accommodating. Our food and drink then came quickly, thanks to him. We ordered pasta dishes and enjoyed our meal.

Good & generous sized breakfast. Front staff didn’t look carefully for the booking in the system and said that we don’t have a booking. Another staff found it later. We got a table on busy Sunday morning at the end so all ok.

Although the food and atmosphere was very good. The service was almost non existent when after we ordered our meal. We got our main meals 5 mins apart, not offered water until we were halfway through our mains. Had to leave our seats twice to get the attention of a waiter to order a coffee and also ask for how we paid the bill and then get the bill. It was interesting that the person who introduced themselves as our waiter we never saw again until we left and he was outside talking to a non worker- bizarre.

I was great, service was great, atmosphere was great but it was too cold inside. I had to get the blanket to cover myself. I noticed few other customers had to use the blankets.

Other than the terse welcome of "Ive been trying to contact you all day, and you have to be out by 7.15pm tonight" we couldn't fault the restaurant The location is amazing but the staff were all excellent, mostly European trained and willing workers We loved each dish we had, even the coffees were wonderful - Plenty of creme By the way the front of house staff had not tried my mobile at all because I carry it with me all the time... and we had plenty of time from 5.30pm to 6.45pm as it happened to eat in leisure and leave .... but to be greeted by that statement is very off-putting I must say We will certainly be back again The food is world class and we had 3 overseas guests with us .. from Canada and USA Molto bene

The restaurant setting is amazing. The wait staff were really friendly but there was confusion or lack of training with regard to beers/wines available. The 4 meals we had were nice but not amazing. The person at our table who ordered the steak said it was oily and only luke warm. They gave us the wrong table bill at the end of the night and then there was wine incorrectly detailed on the next bill they gave us.

Excellent service and the food was very good. Waiter made the experience worth the visit. Would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends 👫.

I read poor reviews about dinner at this place & better lunch experience. We went for lunch. It wasn't busy so was a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service. Great woodfired pizzas & rocket salad. Very enjoyable.

Poor service, even worse food. The food was cold, poorly presented and in some cases undercooked which is unbelievable. This restaurant has gone from good to average to one you would not go back to. Such a shame

Atmosphere was great, service was great, food was great. Only slight drawback was the cold air coming through, made it very cold to dine on the terrace... maybe shutters or blinds need to be looked into ?

I recently visited La Capannina to celebrate my partners birthday. I had requested for an outside table with a great view of the ocean and that is exactly what we got. The staff are very helpful and friendly, however the food was not as good as i expected but still nice.

Pasta was a bit cold and for the price of the meal expected a little more, also pasta was very firm and perhaps waiter should have explained could have had the pasta cooked a bit more - not much meat for a type of "spag bog" dish - flavour was there but put that dish in front a nonna and she would be asking is that to feed a pigeon - also no chicken dishes On the plus side the entrée were was good and would be back for a drink and entrée only and when not when the restaurant so busy that you could not even talk to the person in front of you

Shocking service. Poor food . Rude inattentive staff. Never going back and many warned me booking this place to begin with. My guests feel the same .

We went for a lunch. Really great atmosphere, service, delicious authentic Italian food and amazing views. Well Worth the visit. Recommend to book outside if possible.

First time I have done a review. After tonight’s experience I needed to share, I’ll go through the points of the night; 1) drinking glasses were served with lip stick on them. 2) I ordered a sparkling water which never arrived 3) my wife and I both have coeliac’s and pizzas advertised as gluten free, when I spoke to the chef they are all made with the other pizza’s (so they are not gluten free) 4) I tried to order 12 oysters as my entree... they told me they ran out of oysters 5) I ordered the scotch fillet with mushroom sauce, my wife ordered the barramundi with a side of garden salad 6) my wife’s barramundi was presented well and tasted nice (no complaints here, great job) salad can out completely dry, not one bit of oil, salt, vinegar or dressing 7) my scotch fillet was small, the fat wasn’t the caramelised so it was white and mushy, there was no mushroom type sauce, it was literally mushrooms with salt and a few average tasting potatoes on the side (not at all worth the $38) 8) to top it off, the waitress didn’t offer me a steak knife or pepper for my steak.. and I couldnt ask for a steak knife or pepper because no one was around 9) when I received the bill they tried to charge me for the sparkling water I never received 10) best part of the night was on my way out. Sorry to say, like I said I have never done a review and normally very positive when eating out and not a food critic by any means although felt necessary to share tonight’s experience

Overall experience was good. Went for bfast brunch and menu selection was good. Service was pleasant and wait time was not to long even though it wasn't overly busy.recommend.

Great place for breakfast with fantastic view near the beach

I booked well in advance and specifically asked for an outside table. On arrival we were given a table inside and even though we pointed out we had booked outside, we could not be moved. The food was excellent and the service was good, but I was disappointed at my prior request being ignored.

Wonderful venue, dedicated staff, sublime food! Belissima we took our mother for her birthday and so glad we chose to do so. Thankyou for a wonderful evening.

Eggs were over cooked and the service was very average for breakfast. The restaurant has the most amazing views just needs to match with the staff

The food was really nice we had spaghetti carbonara, chilli mussels and gnocchi. The atmosphere and view were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Food took a long time to come out which was very disappointing. Very noisy & I was very surprised that there was no toilet door on the men's facilities.

Couldn’t fault lunch at La Capannina. View from the balcony was amazing! Service was good and accommodated a spot for my pram. Arrancini and pasta dishes were spot on. Yum yum yum!

Food was lovely and service was excellent. A very good menu with great choices. It is a beautiful location on the beach and a great spot to watch the sun set on the ocean.

Breakfast was more pleasant due to not being cramped in. Not sure why they always bunch people together. Coffee was good. Waitress not familiar with specialty items on menu which is not acceptable
