The restaurant is in a great location, with lovely views. The prices are set up amongst, fine dining prices. We ordered the steak, it was a cheap cut and smothered with cheese. Not nice. Chips were great. Kids menu - store bought nuggets! How about crumbed chicken instead. Fish was nice. Pasta dish was lovely. Our waitress was great and very pleasant. There was a mix up with our order and this was rectified by a manager. A suggestion, maybe more slices or cakes available in cabinet, for variety. We will return, I love new restaurants in the area and I hope this one goes forward in a positive way.

Loved it so much! This place is amazing, great food, very friendly, attentive staff, charme, views and authentic Italian pizza. It’s not trying to be smth that it’s not. It’s classy but still casual comfy - the perfect mix for almost all occasions! So for the love of carbs and a great night out, go book a table!

Presuming 6 is the top score! We had a lovely evening at La Capannina. Our meal was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, and we will look forward to dining here again. If we have one query, it is why no chicken or pork main dishes?

Very nice night. Great food. Selection of wines and beers were good. Service was good. The venue was great. I like the view into the kitchen.

Extremely average food - was expecting better quality & presentation. Good service & excellent location is the only positive I have to say. Asked the waitress why the aircon was on (stormy weather outside) she said heating was just warming up-it never did. It was freezing the whole 2 hours we were there. Disappointed with this dining experience - maybe we were expecting too much.

The food was fantastic! Generous serves and very tasty. It was a very busy Saturday night (despite awful weather) great vibe however some attention to detail improvements required by the wait staff. Overall very satisfied and will definitely be back!

Great service, limited Australian wines, pasta dishes not the best, seafood well prepared. Concrete floor cold and noisy . No need to rush it might not last long. Surprised no walk-ins and no table turns only one service.

The service was really fast and very friendly staff! The view from the restaurant was stunning! The pastas were very tasty and have a great range, didn't know which one to choose. The Nutella pizza was delicious! Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Great setting, very good food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The mussels, grilled seafood, pasta with crab, Nutella desert pizza were a standout . I like the one price for unlimited water!

La capinna hits the mark for Scarborough, best views in Perth at sunset, food wine and service excellent. Alltogether great makes for great ambience. A class addition to Perths resteraunt scene.

the staff were efficient and pleasant. the food was good - no wow factor but good honest Italian fare. very pleasant design etc but suffered from a cold draught blowing through.

Service was a little slow, very cold with all the doors open, food was great however! Our drink order was unfortunately forgotten and we needed to remind them of it. Might have thought a kind gesture was to provide them complimentary, would have made the difference in us thinking we would definitely go back!

We booked only 30 min before on a Monday And were able to be squeezed in. It was a full restaurant when we arrived, we were placed outside we could see and hear and smell the beach the view (even at night) was spectacular. The floor staff very polite and kind.we received the menus and ordered drinks our “drink “ waiter was very professional, we ordered some pastas and demolished some French fries before they arrived even though the restaurant was packed the wait wasn’t that bad and the food was ok it lacked seasoning and attention such minor details to humble food makes it unenjoyable however it was Monday and I doubt the A squad was in that night

My Ravioli was delicious; could have been a fraction more generous. Yummy mussels and Carbonara tho latter serve way too small for a man. Tiramisu was not cakey enough. Had to ask for cracked pepper and Parmesan. The staff were exceptional. Whilst at least 5 different waiters helped us all were happy and had great dispositions. We will be back as the atmosphere is terrific. Hope this helps.

Hi, Amazing views, decor and service. Pizzas are great and food in general was very good. Seafood platter $35 was ok but fish and prawns were dry and not much for the value. Would try again and test other dishes.

Great view, food and friendly service however food took a very long time to arrive at over an hour. Left before desert menu came as we got tired of waiting for it.

The place is great, great service, good wines, food is absolutely terrific. One flaw would be the small portion sizes for the pastas. one would expect for the price and being Italian that you would get far more (I would say you should receive double than what they serve). I was still hungry afterwards

Beautiful food but not so good service. They had only one person taking food orders another person who only pours water another person clearing the tables. Why can’t the same waiter do everything?

5 of us caught up for a meal at this new restaurant. Decor and setting is just brilliant. Dress code was very smart casual. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was lovely. We had the antipasto plate with garlic bread to share while we chatted over some drinks. We had a circular booth, which in a busy fully packed restaurant was quite intimate. Two of us ordered the mixed seafood plate which was well cooked and very fresh. Another ordered the fish of the day which came with a generous salad. It was a perfectly cooked piece of Barramundi with crispy skin. Another meal was the black and white seafood pasta which was well received and the other was Penne al Salmone. Really nice although would have been better with a fresh home made pasta rather than packet pasta but because the sauce was soo good it could be forgiven. We finished with coffees and no dessert as we couldn’t fit it in. All in all a lovely night and considering that they were fully booked there was no shortage of staff or attention to our table. The negative would be that their plate/bowl sizes are almost too big for the small round table we sat at. Especially when you add cutlery, water and wine glasses, condiments and a bottle of water. So happy no one ordered extra bowl of salad as it would not of fitted. Highly recommend trying this restaurant. Looking forward to returning soon for a lazy lunch and afternoon. Well done for bringing great place and food to Seaside Scarborough.

Great service from friendly staff. Fantastic authentic Italian meals with a beautiful beachside setting and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend for couples, groups or families.

Such a lovely venue, with attentive and friendly staff. Pizza was yummy and the Prosecco was chilled. A great place to watch a sunset and relax at the end of the day.... Will definitely be back.

The service was magnificent - the best I have experienced in Perth for some time. They were very attentive and courteous. I don't mind paying good dollars for good food, but I have to say the food was average. The three ladies in our group ordered the veal. It was very dry and tough (overcooked) and lacked taste. It took the gloss of what is a fine looking restaurant - great views and friendly service. In summary - a bit pricey, so you expect exceptional food. Disappointed in the outcome today.

Good friendly service, the food was good. Seating for tables of 2 much too close together, no privacy. Seating was very comfortable though.

Beautiful setting, food was quite bland and average. Very small portions. Our entree came after our mains had arrived (they did take the cost off the bill which was nice), food was quite slow to come out. Mostly friendly staff, but some waiters seemed to intentionally not meet your eye. We won’t rush back.

Food was good but they are still finding their feet service wise. Will try them again to see if this improves once the’ve settled in

The restaurant is gorgeous, the staff super friendly. We just felt as though we were fussed over initially, but then left for too long when it came time to order. But these are probably all teething issues. The food was good though the highlight of our meal was the coffee...it was incredible.

The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant is in an amazing location with an amazing view. Some of the staff could have been more endearing and attentive however the rest of the staff were fantastic.

when we did manage to gain attention from a waiter we both ordered a pasta meal. Food was good and well priced however there seemed to be confusion as to who was serving our outside table. There was either none prepared to serve us or 3 attending at one time. Wrong glass of wine delivered and one dessert overlooked. Teething problems? Or more training required?

Beautiful restaurant in a nice location. Booked table in the varanda but it was not ready upon arrival. They have us a table inside and changed after, upon request. Food and Service was ok, served very fast. Would be a good place for dinner or sunset drinks. Weekends and lunch time maybe too busy.

All the food was amazing , service was mostly good with a few teething problems which was to be expected. We will 100% be back again.

La Capannina impressed with the location and decor of the new restaurant. The staff were attentive, friendly and very obliging. The food was delicious and served very promptly and the drinks menu was diverse with a great range of wine, beer and cocktails. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I look forward to going again.

Service was excellent, food was great we had the squid ink crab pasta and the white and black seafood spaghetti, the drinks list has something for everyone and atmosphere was good too with views across the Scarborough Coast

Lovely view, plenty of space and very well designed so the tables are not super close to each other. Great service and I do like the mango-misu.

Food was great service a bit all over the place. Lovely atmosphere. A bit chaotic still finding their feet. Need to work on customer engagement.

Disappointing to say the least, two of us had the grilled mixed seafood which come out luke warm and not a lot on the plate. Italians love food and lots of it we were left still hungry, no salad or chips just a few minute pieces of pumpkin and charred broccoli. The other two had Gnocchi and the Barramundi again small meals but they enjoyed them and they were flavorsome. So we ordered desert which we never do but because we weren't full, decided to have desert, one arrived and the other never come at all, once we finished the main meal it seemed the service dropped off, we ended up having to flag someone to come over. 3 had a glass of wine and all up the cost averaged to $45 per person. The restaurant had a great ambiance great views and location but meal sizes and service needs improving.

Food was lovely, the staff were lovely and service was efficient . The location and outlook is superb especially come spring summer a you will be looking out over the ocean

Our lunch with our granddaughters today was perfect in every way. The outdoor table was well protected and with the wonderful view it was very relaxing to the point that we were all saying we could sit there all afternoon. The service was excellent as were our meals, drinks and coffees. Just a very enjoying experience.

To be perfectly honest service was not great at all and my friend had the seafood dish and 2 parts of it were under cooked - mentioned it and was basically snubbed. We were left disappointed 😔

They have only just opened so they are still working some things out obviously and I imagine things will tighten up a bit after they have been open for a couple of months, so I can overlook a number of little things like being served the wrong main course and a few other little quirky things. However, I had the black ink crab linguini for main and whilst it tasted good there was hardly any crab in it at all. It was more like pasta and cherry tomatoes. I also didn't think much of the fritto misto entree. In all the experience was ok, but I won't rush back. I might give it a go in another 6 months or so after they have been up and running for a while.
