Great service, friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere and amazing food. We didn’t just go to a restaurant, we went to Colombia.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The owner was also our server and she was wonderful in describing everything to us.

I was surprised by the quality and just how basic the food was. I would never go this again.

What a fantastic find this restaurant was. Great and interesting food and all well presented. Spoke a length with the owner ‘John’ who was Colombian and had lots of interesting stories. Loved all the memorabilia and big mural on the wall. Great value for money. Will definitely be going back for another meal.

We took my Colombian housemate out for his birthday and he was so excited to have meals that reminded him of home! Whilst we were waiting for the food to arrive, he told us about all of the photos in your wall mural and memorabilia around the restaurant. Great service by all of the staff! Nice friendly service....and it was interesting to experience Colombian food.....however the meat was dry, over cooked....did not seem to be freshly cooked.....so disappointing. However all the rest was very nice. There would have to be an improvement in the cooking of the meat for me to return....sorry ..

I love La Tienda because the service by the Colombian staff is great, always with a smile and willing to make you feel at home. The menu is quite traditional, and it combines well a sought after dishes by Colombians but that anyone enjoys, the patacombo is a great entree, don't miss the empanadas or picada, perhaps the ajiaco o bandeja paisa. The obleas are my favourite dessert. And the cocktails are very authentic. Nice place to have a relaxed dinner, with salsa tunes and not pretentious at all!

Seafood soup was quite good but the barbeque would taste much better if it was freshly grilled.

The waitress was very friendly and helpful with giving food recommendations. We didn't have to wait long for our meals surprisingly even though there were only two people working in the front of house. Food was very good. Lots of options to choose from. The monthly specials sounded very good as well. Have to come back to try some. The only recommendation I could give would be better heating as we had to keep our coats on throughout dinner. So if you go on a cold night make sure you dress warm.

Amazing ! Been hanging out for traditional and authentic Colombian street food since I returned last year. My friends and I were recently brought back to the beaches of Cartagena and bustling city of Medellin. Staff were amazingly friendly and warm, premises is very clean and food is fresh and filling.

Staff were great, booking was easy, chef kept up with our orders all in which arrived on a timely manner, food was delicious. Only downfall was their phone number on Google wouldn't connect but we were able to make a reservation online.

The staff is super friendly and enganing. We appreciated how much we felt welcomed in the restaurant. As we were in a big group we were expecting staff to explain in more detail how the menu works and also give us some tips of what to order for big groups. A set menu could be a suggestion for those that don’t know Colombian food.
