The Last Local

6 people came for dinner. We normally catch up 6 times a year. Everyone was impressed with the atmosphere, amount of space and the friendliness of the staff. The food was served quickly. It was hot, exactly how it was described on the menu and was a decent portion. It was our first time there and we rank it as one of our best dining experiences. We will definitely be back for more. Only negative comment was the price of the beer. Great night, thank you.

We placed lunch order for 3 people. My fish tacos arrived on table just after I sat down from ordering. The second meal was delivered 15mins later then third meal another 10 minutes after that. I like to eat my meal with fellow diners at the same time. It was not busy at 12.15pm today so no excuse for kitchen not better coordinating meals. Abit disappointing.

Wait times for ordering food and drink could be improved. Staff need to be mindful when serving food to the table, we were still waiting to order drinks as we couldn't order drinks when we placed the food order when the food arrived at the table with half the table waiting at the bar to order drinks. Some of the table finished their meal before others even received their meals. Would have been nice if everyone could have eaten together.

We visit once to twice a year. Food was plentiful and great. Like all pubs as people move in and have a few drinks the noise levels do increase which is to be expected. Young lass on the till at the time was great. I ordered two meals and she enquired were they seniors. I made the decision yes but asked could I place the order and change if necessary. Everything was ok but she still came to me at the table to confirm. Great service.

Everything was perfect. My only constructive feedback is to have chairs without long arm rests. My elderly Nanna found it hard to transfer from her walking frame to the chair safely. But food, time, seating arrangement, vibe of the place was perfect. My family and I had a great dinner and we will be back.

My friend ordered the parmi and found half way thru her meal the chicken was raw otherwise the service was fine

Amazing food, - our steaks were cooked as ordered., salads were fresh and the platting was perfect - as usual Amazing custiomer service.

The Rogan Josh was very disappointing, bland and no spice, basically meat and very mildly flavoured gravy, won't order it again. The other 3 dishes were good. I fail to understand why some venues dumb down their curries to satisfy those who don't like curry??? Make it a curry and if the clients who don't like it that way should order something different - otherwise label it as bland and no spice so we know what we're getting!

It was friends birthday so I booked. What a lovely place, beautiful happy staff. Te food was delicious & we will be back. Thankyou! Love the fairy lights!

The food was amazing but we waited for 5 minutes in the food & drinks line for our order to be taken. The person serving did not give me a receipt for my roast dinner & I didn't know I had to go & get it, I thought they bought it to me. It was a lovely roast though.

Good place, good food. Kids eat free on Sundays used to come with ice cream but have since been removed. Bummer. Kids were always looking forward to a sweet dessert.

Haven’t been to The Last Local for a long time and I was not impressed. $30 for a bowl of pasta that tasted microwaved as it was tough and came out very quickly. Sat in the courtyard which has had a makeover since my last visit, so that was pleasant but won’t be returning to eat.

I had the barramundi and prawns, but I felt the salad was lacking. If I’d had the salad that came with the Salt-N-Pepa calamari I would’ve been very happy. Also please put the chips on the side not under the fish. Thank you X otherwise great beef cheeks awesome..

We had a booking for 20 people. On arrival I was scolded by a staff member for apparently moving the tables as it then becomes "a function". I was not even aware that members of our group had moved the tables prior to me arriving. However, all they had done was simply joined the tables up in a T shape to be one group, it was still easily accessible around the tables. We moved the tables back as requested, but this meant our group was split into two. There was absolutely no valid reason for not being able to have our tables joined the way that my fellow guests had moved them and it spoilt the occasion that we then had to split into two groups. It was a memorial dinner for a loved one, so we wanted to be all together. The split tables should have been advised at the time of the booking or when the confirmation phone call was received two nights prior to the event. Waiting to order drinks at the bar took so long that our meals arrived at our table before we got back to the table with our drinks. More bar staff were needed as the facility was at full capacity to the point where people were not allowed inside, until others had left.

The day I dined there was a special on fish and chips (which I had) and $9 pints on a beer that I drink. Had a very pleasant outing and easy on my pocket. Will definitely be back.

Kitchen still needs to learn to serve all dishes for patrons at the table at the same time; instead of some customers starting their meals well before others.

Delicious food, we were seated in restaurant and had menus but we were not aware that we go up to bar and order our own drinks and food so we sat for a while and worked it out. We will def return. Only suggestion is that staff seating people in restaurant let them know the ordering process 🙂
