Great Sunday roast with the family and a great atmosphere

Food was disappointing. Chicken Parmi was different to usual and chips were soggy. Malaysian Laksa was tasteless and lacked seasoning. Marinara was very watery and chilli mussels were served 5 mins after the 3 other meals. Always had good meals in the past. This was not up to standard.

Food was nice and service very good. Staff were also very friendly.

A regular lunch spot for us and the food is excellent never leave hungry and the staff are very friendly

the food was lovely except for the fish and chips the battered fish was very doughy and the fish had a strong taste and was tough wouldnt recommend it at all but everything else was great

My biggest critique was the prices charged, a glass of house white was $9 was pushing it and a roast dinner for $35 was a bit expensive considering it was mostly vegetables.

Ordered a MR steak but it is pretty raw. Otherwise everything else is good

Nice environment and food. I love the Sunday roasts and hope there’s more meat than 3 slices and lesser vege. Maybe i need to let them know i guess next round.

The Last local is our favourite local establishment for lunch or dinner. The Braai Steak Sandwich is a winner every time but either way, there’s so much to choose from on the menu. Highly recommend the atmosphere and food at The Last Local. We’ll be back for sure.

Good food , pleasant staff, clean restaurant , friendly environment

Had a TAB an when I went to pay the bill the staff gave me someone else’s cc and driver’s license then I said that ain’t myn an handed it back then they couldn’t open the 2nd till to get myn out and had to call the manager, once he arrived he started making coffees because they were understaffed I had to interrupt him as I had been waiting almost 10mins to pay my bill, an his response was we don’t normally run a TAB. No sorry mate/apology etc, was a little rude for someone in a management roll witch is a shame as I live in Thornlie an had been a regular customer for many years.

Delicious food and drink but can sometimes be quite loud

I haven’t been to the Last Local for a while and now I can’t remember why we stopped going because tonight’s visit was great. Generous portions of food and really tasty. Food was out in about 10 minutes. Can’t remember ever having that sort of service anywhere! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back and the friends we took were so impressed, they intend to bring their friends over too. So win! Win! Considering it was also Easter Saturday, couldn’t be happier with quality of food and service. Keep it up!

The food, service and atmosphere are great in this local pub. Servings are of a decent size and very reasonably priced. With regular entertainment and raffle tickets given with your purchases it’s a winner winner chicken dinner !

The restaurant and food quality is very good. We had visitors from Europe and they enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

Overall all good. More bar staff would have been great but waiting times not overly long albeit customers being served out of turn.

fantastic food and service ...we go regularly for lunch and dinner

I booked a table for 7.45 and we arrived on time. Our understanding was meals orders did close at 8pm so we ordered them quickly. All good our starter arrived, but before we could enjoy that the four mains all arrived minutes after the entree. Staff cleaning tables right next to us while we still ate our mains as they had to stretch to complete and climb onto couches. Food was good though and bar staff very accommodating and friendly.

Meals were bought out at all different times and 2 of them everyone had finished their meals. Wrong meal was bought out as well.

Service and food was very impressive. We will come again.

We had a good time. So glad you didn't have music playing as we could hear one another talk. Some places you are battling to hear one another talk. The smoking near the entrance door stunk and was off putting.

We visited the restaurant for my dad's birthday and unfortunately the orders were mixed up between our table and another's, so there was a wait time for some of our food, however when it did arrive, the food was great. The service could improve as we were told what table number our booking was under, however no one showed us where to go, so we just had to find the table ourselves. It was still a good evening.
