Took my husband here for his birthday, hadn’t had Vietnamese before. A real surprise with the value. The food was all lovely and fresh and packed with flavour. We had the tasting menu 8 course and was delicious, we will be back!

Unfortunately, since news is getting out about this local gem, they’ve wisely implemented the two-seating policy... this means the service is attentive but rushed, in order to reset fr the later booking. Just means one cannot spend too much time luxuriating over the delicious food! Won’t stop me going back tho 👍🏼

Obviously a very loyal, happy local clientele... full at 6pm! The 6-dish degustation was excellent—tonnes of food! Perhaps a tad noisy... carpet? Some screens or baffles on walls? We’ll be back!

Food was tasty and service and atmosphere was great tried the tasting menu but would prefer to order my own dishes so I could have more dishes to suit my taste found some dishes on the sweet side but overall great food and will go again

Sensational food, amazing flavours and beautiful presentation. Make sure you go with a group of friends so you have an excuse to try heaps of delicious dishes. Don’t forget to have the Vietnames pancake - it’s awesome. The service is spot on as well. Go and enjoy!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Every single dish from the eight dish tasting platter was delicious. Would especially like to point out the sticky lamb ribs which were melt in your mouth devine. They have a few local craft beers available and the wine was also excellent. Just as impressive as the food was the fantastic service, the staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!!

We had 2 hrs til next sitting and last meals arrived 20 mins before end. The food had too much fish sauce for my liking. Wondered if the chef has changed. Beautiful rice paper rolls.

We had the 6 course tasting menu and loved it. First time at Le Feu and they recommended the tasting menu and it was certainly a great dining experience.

Fabulous food, great service but goodness on a hot day they really needed some air conditioning! Loved the Vietnamese with a subtle French twist. Yum!

As usual the food was well presented and really fresh. The lamb ribs are melt in the mouth tender. We always leave some space for the taro chips they are a masssive hit with my kids. All the tables were reserved its going to be hard to book a table here soon...so get in soon.

Absolutely beautiful food with a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter was very friendly. We had the Saigon tasting banquet, which was delicious and very good value.

Food was delicious, everything tasted authentic and fresh. The waitstaff were funny and attentive and professional. We all had a really good night there and it was great!

Food excellent as always. New staff negligent though. No knowledge of the menu and very slack about clearing tables and asking after deserts and coffee. In fact the lack of waiter attention is the reason for the low score. It would be six if the review was just about food.

I have been before and had a wonderful experience however this time the service was terrible. We were ignored several times, wrong food brought out 3 times and it took almost 3 hours for the set menu to be delivered

Wonderful fresh flavours and great staff. We had three courses to share and all were beautiful modern Vietnamese. Desert was amazing Pana Cotta and the Fried Ice Cream 😍We love This place. This is our new local.

Booked the restaurant without any expectations. Decided to take the 8 course ha long . Our attentive waiter was actually the owner and he took us on a journey explaining each dish to us. Relaxed vibe, well priced, great food $ service. We will be back and will spread the word

You can’t go passed this restaurant. Quinny our waiter (Hopefully we have his name correct) made the whole dining experience one to remember. His service was faultless. Kevin (chef & owner) roamed the dining area taking the time to discuss each of our dishes, topped off our evening beautifully. We now plan to book a lunch with good friends to celebrate an up coming birthday and share our new dining discovery.

Great meal, service was excellent. Had dinner around 6:30pm, was not too crowded or noisy. Certainly would recommend and will go back. New little gem in Aspendale

Great traditional Vietnamese food , quirky decor, nice dinnerware, unfortunately bad acoustics! Whole baby barramundi excellent! Terrific find in the burbs! Nice to meet Kevin xxxx

In a word - Fabulous! The food has amazing fresh flavours, we always like to do the banquet where they choose your dishes for you. The staff are lovely & Kevin the owner comes out & chats when he's not overrun in the kitchen. He is so grateful for you visiting his establishment. The shop fitout is gorgeous, and with the delicious aroma & the fantastic food, you begin to wonder - am I in Vietnam?? PS - make sure you book - they are super busy - and once you eat there, you'll know why!

Our first time back at the restaurant since it changed hands & we were really impressed - great food/service & highly recommend the degustation where you can get a sample of the tasty options on the menu - we will definitely be going back!
