Lone Star Rib House - Cockburn

Food was excellent and even though there was a small miscommunication with our order the staff handled it fantastically

Sooo frustrating that every time I come here they always give me a table next to the entry, surely if you make a prior booking they should choose a better table for you?? The weather was wet and windy and every time someone entered it was very cold, also people watch you eat that are waiting at the door. Although the service was quick, our 3 rump steaks were over cooked and dry, definitely not medium rare as requested. We did mention this whilst paying but one is never quite sure if the feedback goes any further.....

Food portions were huge, worth the money we paid. Really good staff. We had a young guy serve our table, top points goes to him. Rib tower was amazing!

Great place. The food was delicious and they were massive servings!

Everything was fine until the meals where starting to come out, I wore half of the chips from my plate when the waiter was putting my meal down ( plus I didnt order chips with my meal I told the waiter no chips please and the waiter didn’t write no chips) and the chicken with garlic mushroom and bacon two people on our table ordered it and only got 1 tiny little mushroom on there chicken, it looked more like gravy with bacon???

The food was superb and very generous portions, with the cherry on top ... our friendly, capable waiter (Mr Durban) from Haiti! 😉 Enjoyed out experience!

Unfortunately it was a cold and watery night when we visit. So had to run from car to establishment. Slightly disappointed that metal pails for holding peanuts were gone and were substituted with plastic containers. Orders were quickly taken and served. Food was excellent and service was good. Servers also made available takeaway containers if portions could not be finished.

It was a good dining experience. I will go here again.

Lunch meal on Thursday. Quiet in restaurant with only a few diners. No background music being played. Meal was very good value. ENJOYED!

This was definitely the best Lone Star meal we've ever had. The pork ribs were so tender and moist and heavenly. Can't wait to have it again.
