Delicious food but it was 38 degrees today and felt it! - despite sitting inside- the aircon did nothing which made for a sticky lunch!

As always fabulous food with a good choice. Very coeliac aware, cosy environment, friendly and helpful staff. Have been here a few times and keep returning. Only negatives is parking can be difficult and the olive starter is still too garlicky and can't taste the orange.

Love being able to support a local business. Very nice atmosphere. Staff do need to be more aware of looking at the tables when walking past, and clear items which are finished with.

My wife and I really enjoy Lot One Kitchen, we are frequently there for dinner and breakfast, we have only recently started using Quandoo to make reservations and like how simple it is to make reservations at our favourite spot to spend a great dinner out together

Would love more GF options as other restaurants have for breakfasts. Eggs and bacon etc are not too everyone’s taste and therefore toast is inadequate.

Too much tomato sauce in the gnocchi, goats curd was not very nice. Had to ask several times before got ice to our table and saw the questioning looks: the answer is simple; it's summer and we like cold drinks! I didn't expect a sign to be placed on our table before we'd even finished our dinner to indicate the table was booked for 7pm. Upon booking, I should've been advised about any limits to table availability which I wasn't and I didn't expect for a Monday evening. I wouldn't rush to go there, again.

Beautiful restaurant, in a great location. Food was delicious and filling, with more than one option for vegans. Drinks selection was wonderful with delicious cocktails. Had a great section with kids toys to keep my young one busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back again!

We had brunch / breakfast at Lot One. Food was awesome. Service good. Love that they don't offer straws with your drinks but you can get a metal one for a gold coin donation and keep it. My new favourite for the corridor.

As a coeliac dining out can be a nightmare but after a phonecall to 'Lot one' during the day we arrived feeling quite confident and were not disappointed with no coeliac issues after the evening was over. We had 4 dishes between us and asked for all to arrive together as mains, olives, fennel and orange, salt and pepper squid with chipotle aioli, crispy malaysian chicken and cider and chilli pork belly. The food was good with some minor thoughts ... the olives were far too garlicky not allowing for any other flavors to come through. The pork belly was however perfect and the chickken was cooked well and tasted very nice. Salt and pepper squid was cooked well but quite peppery, again a little overwhelming in flavor. We both finished with frangelico affogato, delicious, although 1 coffee bean to decorate would have been a better option than sprinkling them over the dish as the softness of the dessert was removed and we both found ourselves picking the beans out of the dish to throw away. The staff were fantastic, efficient and friendly and overall a pretty decent meal. Would we dine there again, yes definitely food was mostly delicious and of course knowing that they have a separate fryer for gluten and are aware

Food is consistently good and the menu has a varied selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The ambience is pleasant in a relaxed setting. Service can be patchy when busy but generally courteous and efficient. The coffee is the biggest drawback, from average to undrinkable.

An excellent range of vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu, well-presented and wholesome. Very courteous staff with service particularly good by Perth standards, and not far behind Sydney as the benchmark. The best restaurant-cum-coffee shop of its kind in the Hillarys and Sorrento area, a real standout and highly recommended. The coffee is not quite up to Freo standards but still very good. As a local, I hope Lot One has a long and successful presence in Hillarys.

3 out of the 4 meals were very nice. The 4th however was calamari which on the on the first dish was very tough. The waitress was very nice and took it back to the kitchen to have another serving brought out and the second dish was not that much different. Disappointing but nether the less an enjoyable evening. 10/10 to the waitress.

Busy morning which led to the need for us to ask for glasses after the table water was delivered. One breakfast came out before the other two that I was with. There was just a sense of chaos

I always enjoy breakfast here but dinner was disappointing. The snapper was dry and just on a heap of chopped cabbage with a drizzle of sauce. Very tasteless.

Hot evening noisy rap music,, no aircon so glass wall opened allowing flies in. Table double booked adding more pressure to evening as we had to leave by prescribed time. Left early to go elsewhere for coffee in a cooler quiet cafe.
