LUCA didn’t begin as a business plan. It began as a desire to create a space where food felt real again. Where people could connect over a great cup of coffee, a slice of something unexpected, or a plate that reminded them of home (only better).

We started as a small café tucked away in Joondalup, serving a menu rooted in flavour and guided by a deep respect for ingredients. From day one, we chose to do things differently. We reimagined and refined the existing flavor, wrapped into something new and exciting. We introduced bold drink options like pistachio and tiramisu lattes before they were trending. We listened to our customers, refined our craft, and built something that became more than just a place to eat, it became a part of the community.

LUCA is run by a tight-knit team of passionate foodies who believe in the power of a good meal to turn someone’s day around. We’re not here to be fancy for the sake of it. We’re here to be memorable. Everything we serve from our chilli scram and decadent brownies to our seasonal drinks and fresh-baked treats, is made with care, creativity, and a lot of heart.
