Overpriced for what you get. My guests meal came out in a fair time, but mine (Sashimi - not like it had to be cooked) took far to long, and the waitress had to be asked twice to follow up. And they had run out of most Sake .....

Curry was quite delicious but it was served on a chipped plate.

They hadn’t looked at my request. One meal was cold. Not really Japanese either. One meal was good.

Good food, good drinks, excellent service, great atmosphere. Probably a little more expensive than I would like, but definitely somewhere I would go on occasion. Try the sashimi, karaage chicken, salmon confit, and some sake!

Fantastic food and service as usual. 4 th time here. My friends thought it was amazing. food was really good. We went for the banquet and finished really satisfied. We were right next to a speaker, so it was a little loud. We were having such a good time, we forgot to ask the staff if they could turn the volume down. Still a great night! Thanks team!

Nori tacos used to be really good and well-sized. Prices have increased significantly now. Would still go but not as often or without a discount. Very busy on Thursday evening and food took almost an hour. Service staff lovely and doing the best they could in the situation.

Main Street Ryu was sensational! Their crispy Nori tacos were incredible. I loved the crispiness of the shell combined with the flavour explosion of the filling, I already want more! The Miso Patagonian Toothfish also tantalises the tastebuds, it really is the Wagyu of the sea and every bite was a culinary delight! Will definitely be going back to try more of their menu, this place is such a hidden gem!

We had a great first-time dining at the Main Street Ryu. From our drinks (cocktails and beer) to our fresh and tasty dinner. The minute we walked in we were promptly ushered to our table. Service time was reasonable - we were given an approximate wait time once we placed our orders. Anthony was very attentive and we were pleasantly surprise with their gesture of a cheesecake slice for our daughter who celebrated her birthday that day. Highly recommend.

Food is overall pretty delicious. Unique Japanese food with a twist! Volcano ramen portion was generous, less spicy level is tolerable. Emperor sushi was yummy. Dips for Tokyo fish and chips were good - tempura coating could have been crispier. Nice ambience to chill out

Dine here on a Tuesday night. Quiet night and our orders came pretty quickly. The highlights for us were the Cauliflower tempura, the black soft shell crab and the volcano ramen. Tempura and crab had the Right amount of crunch and flavours. The Apple and cabbage slaw complimented the crab nicely. Broth for the ramen was seafood based and incredibly spot on even for the non-spicy version. Duck meatballs were tender and succulent but I find it a bit too salty for my liking. My friend from Melbourne enjoyed the food and lychee cocktails tremendously. Will come back again.
