Fabulous food, great atmosphere and service. I could not fault this place. $30 mid-week banquet was fabulous. Parking easy during the week. Would highly recommend.
Great service & food. Well located. Pleasant surroundings. The mid week banquet was also excellent value for money. We look forward to eating at Zum Zum’s again.
The food was delicious, conveniently located for parking, a quaint little restaurant. The service was a little cool at times but it's a lovely little place.
Terrific value, great food, we were well looked after by the owner. Loved it and will return again. Also loved the fact it was BYO!
Always a delight to come back to one of our favourites. Everything here is most enjoyable and Greg is a great host and always has time to chat.
Food has definitely gone downhill from when we we there last, and we have eaten there many times. But it seems to be in new hands and yet they are trumpeting the "Malouf" brand. I wonder whether they are some sort of 4th cousins of Maloufs trying to cash in on the name, because the food has definitely gone downhill. Zum Zum used to have a lovely fish dish with spices and laced with tahini. No longer on the menu. The lamb shoulder which they recommended as one of the main meals worth trying was almost tasteless and dry. The maanek sausages as entree were definitely different to (and not as good) as the old ones, which were more like cevapcici in texture. What was pleasant enough was the service. But I'd seriously consider not returning here based on last night.
The $30 set menu offer was excellent value and came with all the favourites, for carnivores and vegetarians! Service was personable and prompt! One of my favourite restaurants. Wednesday nights are also BYO wine so even better value!
amazing meal, very friendly staff and more than worth the $30 for the amount and quality of food that is served. Absolutely recommend going here
Fabulous food, friendly and casual atmosphere and very welcoming. We could have sat there all night! The owner is just lovely, made great suggestions for us to share!
Very good quality middle eastern food with presentation to match. Staff were attentive & friendly. Nice ambience and we will be return customers. Can highly recommend.
Great food and service. Loved the sharing dishes . Just a very noisy table next to us which made conversation difficult, but that can happen anywhere!
The mid week banquet is great value and yummy! Will definitely be returning. Falafels are to die for. . . . . . . .
Fabulous food. All dietary requirements (including Vegan) were adequately catered for which I thought was going to be difficult given the sharing nature of the dishes, but it was done perfectly. Great value. I will be back!
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere with friendly service. When asked if they had gluten free food for one of our party the host marked up the menu for him and explained how they could adapt some recipes so that his options were as varied as everyone else’s. Highly recommended
Food was great though not a huge amount for a 'banquet'. Disappointed that coffee and tea were extra. But the food was excellent - delicious.
We had a lovely dinner at Malouf Zum Zum. The food was delicious and service very good. The atmosphere is relaxed and the setting in the Rathdowne Village is lovely and parking is easy.
Wonderfully tasty food, lovely atmosphere. We were well looked after by the friendly staff. Thanks for a great night! We will return for more for sure.
Love Zum Zums. Have been going there for many years. It never disappoints. I took two friends there on Saturday & they adored the food.
The food is pretty good atmosphere cute cosy ,if you want a quiet place where you want to hear each other talk and the people waiting on you are good l would go back any day.
The Malouf family never fail with their generosity and making you feel like family. The small space feels like you're dining at a friends home serving delicious middle eastern cuisine.
The waitress, who was only on her 2nd night working there, was exceptional. She explained the menu well & was very attentive. The food was delicious.
The food was SO delicious. Very friendly staff and happily catered for the vegan in our group. A very positive experience, I highly recommend eating here.
Wished we had tried the set price menu, the food on the other tables looked magnificent - we asked about it, but were told there would be too much food. We enjoyed what we had, but prefer a variety of tastes. When we return, we will know what to order. A pleasant casual night.
A fabulous evening. Friendly and attentive staff, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. Servings were extremely generous. Strongly recommend the banquet. Definitely planning a return visit.
We had a great dining experience at Zum Zum. Our party of 4 ordered the banquet and we found the range of dishes excellent and great value for money. We find this middle-east inspired restaurant better than many others as the dishes are not oily but still have the traditional flavours and are delicious . Home made icecream and excellent turkish delight with arabic coffee were a great way to finish off a very satisfying meal.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Good range of Lebanese dips, substantial mains (the lamb especially recommended) and although it was a busy Saturday night our food arrived promptly.
Banquet was ok but we did not realise it was compulsory. Some other choice would have been good. Food was good but not great. Service was ok.
Great food and good atmosphere. We had the banquet which is a good way to try many dishes. Good variety and caters for vegetarians also
