Steak was good, fish was good, both value for money. I knew before we arrived that we would be in a biig but I cannot recommend that to other than families. Will book earlier next time. Worthy of a regular visit from locals such as us

We had a large booking for ten for dinner and found the venue very accommodating. The menu offered a good selection, the rib eye with chips and gravy was a popular choice, my grilled flounder with chips and salad was delicious. The service was efficient and friendly and everyone enjoyed their dinner.

The food was very good, though servings were too large for me. I like your idea of Australian cuisine - there were plenty of vegetables.

One diner ordered whole flounder and it was very small compared to the ones we have usually had in the past and compared to the other meals . We drew this to the attention of two staff members but it was ignored. We were disappointed!

Our experience was mixed,took an hour for our food to be delivered.Calamari and Parma good.My pork ribs inedible full of blood vessels.Wine is reasonably priced

Came with a group of friends. Food is always great. Service friendly. Found the booths a bit hot for 6 people. Ok for 4. Highly recommend.

We went as a group for parma night and we thoroughly enjoyed them! Very tasty and fresh, quick service and great prices, we will definitely be back again, highly recommended.

Had a great meal with friends and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. Meals were well priced and tasted great. We will definitley be back.

The food was good, and the service was great, everyone was so friendly. The noise and the restaurant was really nice, but the only thing is they mucked up my order a bit. I love that they had the BBL on the TV and I really enjoyed spending time with my Family in a calm and safe environment.

Pleasant bistro, pleasant and efficient staff, good parking, good ambience for a feed, drink and chat. The menu was extensive, plenty to choose from, and the specials were tempting.

Hi, we ordered our meals then my friend had to go up and asked for a drink. Then my friend again had to go up and ask for some water. Both of these were dropped at the table by this very surly girl as was our meal 40 minutes after we arrived. I had a steak which was nice though a bit more than medium rare, my friend went for the lasagne which was mince layered with lasagne sheets no Bechamel sauce and a bit of melted cheese on the top. The mince just looked dry And my friend said it tasted dry, she was really disappointed. I am in a wheelchair so could not help her out by asking staff member whether we could have a different meal but could not make eyeI contact with the miss surly I think went out of her way to Avoid eye contact . I am in a wheelchair and have bought quite a few people there as it is close to where I live. I would Think twice about taking anyone there. I was so embarrassed. Meg Eabry

We eat at the Malvern Vale quite often and have always had a reasonable meal. Plates are on the generous side. Would recommend for a family gathering. Has undergone recent renovations and pokies are not intrusive.

Meals are very large and this suits some, of course. The restaurant is terrific for “gatherings”, parking easy and kids can be amused easily without having to sit at the table all the time.

Great facilities. Great food. Great staff. Easy to book. Easy parking. Clean and bright. Dining area, lounge area, Sports bar, TAB, pokies and covered outdoor area. What more do you need. Real value for money.

Bit noisy and the steak wasn’t the best but value for money, not bad. Go there often as it’s just near my house. However a little sound baffling would help.

The meals we received were adequate however I was slightly disappointed with my choice which I had eaten there before and enjoyed but this time it was not as edible.

A busy place so make sure you book. Meals were lovely. Reasonably priced. Nice wines. Service good. Good local pub with parking out the back.

Steak night is always busy but didn’t disappoint, rump always good but best to order rare if you like M/rare. Great family buzz and decent pub food . My tip is to book!

Good service, good atmosphere. Wide range of food on the menu from quick light meals through pizza to regular pub fare. I'm sorry that lamb cutlets no longer available.

I really like the Malvernvale, the food is really good and on Friday nights the atmosphere is amazing. On this visit we both had pasta: I had the amatriciana and my partner had the prawn and scallop penne. Both delicious (except for an excess of cheese which was promptly removed).

We had the $20 steak deal which was fantastic. Beautifully cooked tender rump steak, great chips and salad. Good service and not long to wait for our food. Comfortable chairs. Lovely atmosphere at this very popular pub bistro.

Amazing steak, great price at $20 for 300gms!! Decor is modern and the bistro is warm and inviting. We sat next to the cozy fireplace.

When we arrived we were seated next to the door with cold draft coming in every time someone entered through main door. There were several empty tables away from door so this was disappointing. We asked to be moved as were cold which was taken care of pretty quickly. We all enjoyed our meals.

Good for early dinner with kids. Easy to order food and drinks up at the bar. Attentive staff. Food is great value for kids, $8 for dinner and then ice cream!

We got the booth we requested, but it seems that it was only allocated when I rang to advise that we had an additional guest. Also, the starter we ordered came at the same time as the main meal. Apart from those two minor points, we enjoyed the evening and our guests all enjoyed their meals.

Never had a bad meal there - and I've had more than a few. Always a loaded plate and reasonably priced. Sometimes a bit noisy if the meals area is packed but that's no reason not to go.

We went for $20.00 steak night and all of us had the steak. Great value and good portion size. Friendly service. Only downfall was that it was extremely bright in there.

Great food! Great atmosphere and will definitely return! Cold night out but there was a decent crowd, with an array of dishes to choose from on the menu and may I say, the best garlic bread 🥖 I have had for quite some time!

Excellent food, ambience and service. So pleased to have this great pub as our local just around the corner. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.
