Mano's Italian Restaurant

The waitress greeting us was friendly and professional. We chose to sit inside the restaurant as it was a cold night. It was even colder inside the restaurant. We asked if the heating could be turned on and we were advised that the air con was only cold air and used only in the summer months. We were not the only customers sitting in the restaurant that wanted the heating on. The waitress seating us asked if we would like some water and I requested sparkling water, no, no sparkling water. We ordered a bottle of Sav Blanc and there wasn't any of that either..... We ordered our meals and the wait time was longer than we expected and in saying that, the food was delicious. Thank goodness. We gave compliments to the chef when we left. Will I go back? Not until the summer months. Cheers Annie B

Absolutely disgusted with the terrible service from the service by the 3 staff members, 1 male and 2 female working at Mano’s today for Mother’s Day. On arrival we were told it is strictly a set menu only for the day and every booking was rang this week to be advised of this. I received NOT ONE call, text or email of this set menu change. We had 2 toddlers joining us on the day and 1 person who has very specific allergies so would not be able to eat the set menu. Instead of APOLOGISING or even acknowledging any form of fault the staff basically said well it’s a set menu so it is what it is. Not only was this my first Mother’s Day but we had 4 generations of mothers coming together for the first time so your staff truly ruined our day. No alternative was offered and no apology in sight, we left the restaurant beyond disappointed. At minimum an apology could have been made instead the staff just blank stared at our family like we are the ones in the wrong. I would never return to this restaurant again purely based on this experience, for such a special event/day your staff should be trained in customer service at a minimum. I also have screen shots of our booking email, call log showing no contact was made and an email even reminding me of our booking that has a link taking us to the full menu, NOT A SET MENU. If your goal was to ruin our Mother’s Day lunch, that was successful as we could get no reservation anywhere.

Prompt and attentive. Always our go to when we have interstate visitors. Or just feel like we need to get out for a lunch break.

The service wasn’t great. Young staff members with no idea about dinner service. Empty drinks and continually having to ask. They ran out of draft beer and in a Saturday night. Our main meals didn’t come out together. Really disappointed. This use to be a nice restaurant. I definitely won’t be going back.

Love Mano's! Celebrated my partner's 60th tonight and had the most amazing waitress looking after us, who made our night even better. Thank you so much for the laughs ❤️

On arrival, person in charge could not find the booking. Waitstaff eventually found us a a 2 seater table when there was 3 of us booked. When asked for a bigger table response was they were reserved for bigger parties. Did not stay for dinner.

Dreadful service waited 20 minutes every time we ordered a drink told coffee was not available then 30 minutes asked if we could like coffee ordered baileys didn't arrive.never go back and I live 5 minutes away ..

Great food, service and friendly staff. Good location too, highly recommend.

Service was satisfactory. The pasta meals were acceptable but the veal fungi was awful. I was very disappointed. The meat was not veal, it was thick, fried in egg & breadcrumbs & was saved only by the vegetables & mushroom sauce. I will not be back. Manos has lost me & my 3 guests.

Business lunch food was good and staff very helpful and polite.

Mano's is a quality Italian restaurant in the lovely area of Paradise Point in the Gold Coast. I was very happy with the quality of the food, and look forward to coming back here again.

Young male Wait staff was not at all customer friendly- When asked politely " we ordered water and a bottle of Shiraz 10-15 minutes ago. Reply: " that will be about 10 minutes as we are busy - ( that's it) and walked away Mmmmm Finally got eye contact with a young female waitress, explained we had ordered a bottle Shiraz 15 minutes ago. Within 3 minutes glasses and wine were at our table along with water tomorrow She also took out order- 10 minutes later the young male came over to ask if we would like to order. I know we all have to start somewhere but - spoilt our anniversary dinner -

Mano’s staff were absolutely brilliant. From managing to keep my special request secret to even coming out with a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to our birthday girl. Food was unreal as always and the cocktails were made with love also. Thank you for an amazing date night Mano’s family
