So what should you expect from dining at Marcianos then? Well, regarding the space itself – you’ll find floor to ceiling windows letting in spades of natural light, a twelve metre bar in the centre of the restaurant that’s ideal for relaxing with a cocktail or aperitivo and enough space to feel 150 hungry mouths. The service is perfection, and in true Italian style you’ll leave feeling like you’re part of the Marcianos Lindfield family. Then, there is the menu… Kick things off at this Sydney hotspot with starters to share, including grilled polenta topped with gorgonzola cream and walnuts; mussels cooked in lemon and white wine and the famous arancini balls filled with Bolognese sauce.
Then, for the main event at Marcianos well, you better arrive pretty hungry. Pasta fans should keep a close eye out for the spaghetti marinara cooked with Sydney’s freshest seafood, cherry tomatoes, parsley and garlic, or tuck into the gnocchi with smoked eggplant. Or if pizza tickles your fancy, we can’t get enough of the pescatora topped with black squid ink, calamari, zucchini and lemon, or the piegata double folded pizza with smoked mozzarella, fresh mozzarella salami, ham and tomato.
