We love the chef Americo and his food but tonight his staff were lacking. I really love this place and his staff previously at lunch have been very professional.
Lovely staff, great service, yummy food. We booked early and were served quickly , it was a pleasant night out for my husband and I .
The delicious French food was amazing from the Pork Belly entree to my duck main and the decadent and generous sized coffee creme brûlée for dessert. Service and ambience were first - rate. A lovely addition to the Paddington dining scene. The lunch special was great. We are coming back for dinner before the Reds Game on Saturday where they have another great deal.
Food was great. Only one disappointment with a very soggy tart tartin for dessert. Service was bad. Waited 35 minutes after arrival for our order to be taken. Had 2 waitresses with barely any English who couldn't understand basic requests. We were greeted by a waiter who immediately told us he was a fill-in. He told another couple he had never waited before at all. He took our water order then didn't bring it, gave our main courses to the table next to us, gave the couple next to us dessert with no cutlery then completed their night by spilling a glass of water over their table. Even if you're short staffed you don't need fill-ins like him! All night the staff were standing at the bar arguing. It was very chaotic. It was a shame because the food was good, but I won't be rushing back.
Food was incredible and very authentic. Service was highly attentive and excellent - strong French accents which really made the experience so much more authentic. Pricing was very appropriate. We will definitely be back. Great to have another French restaurant of high quality in Brisbane.
The food was very nice. Creme brûlée wasn't quite set though. The lights needed to be dimmed (too bright) and the ambience was a little off. We were happy with our main dishes and they were cooked very well. I think with some tweaking of the atmosphere and finer details, it could be wonderful!
Food was lovely. Service was very average. They only took our drinks order once and we had to ask them to. We had all intentions of getting dessert but after sitting with our finished plates in front of us for a good 15 minutes, it was time to go. It also took another 10-15 just to get the bill. Nice atmosphere but disappointing level of service for such a small restaurant and 5 waiters.
We loved the food and the service was excellent! We had a blue cheese soufflé, pork belly and lamb, which were all gluten free. The meals were quite small, but we did not leave feeling hungry.
