Meat Me

Arrived at the take out venue and was quickly ushered across to the restaurant side. Casual atmosphere, food was tasty and meat was succulent when arrived. Something for everyone. Service was basic & friendly. Over service is not needed at this venue. Good for a group of friends. Price very reasonable. Allows take home for left overs.

The service was terrible last night, the food was so slow coming out and I had to keep asking numerous times for drink orders to be taken. The food is always really nice, just not happy with the service.

Lovely experience. Staff were friendly and prompt. Food was amazing - tasty and generous portions (which I appreciate!!) If I was to have one criticism it would be no dessert menu :( but I have no hesitation in going back and have recommended this place to my family and friends. Can't wait to go back there.

The food is Always great, never had a bad meal. Always great service! Best souvlaki I have ever had. Reasonable pricing and good selection of food on the menu.

Delicious as usually. Calamari is the best in Eaton mall. Service was a little slow on this particular night but is usually a quick in/out on a week night.

Our last experience at Meat Me was 6/6. Unfortunately, we all felt the service and meal was well below our previous visit. We were seated under a speaker with the loudest, unappealing music which did not improve throughout the night. Seated in front of the window was a very cold position in the restaurant compared to further down the back where we have previously been seated, a cold draught was on us too. We were seated quickly but our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes later and then it took another 55 more minutes receive our meal. The meat was nice but was cold and so were the chips. All of us agreed that the salad was very average, it had no dressing, no feta or olives in 2 of our guests meals, one small piece of tomato and mine was just cucumber and onion with one piece of tomatoe. The table water was warm. On a positive, the tzatziki was very nice as usual. Sorry, but It was a big let down compared to our last visit. We left feeling very disappointed, a very average meal/ night celebrating our son's birthday at Meat Me.

Overall it was a great venue which served great food and I cannot fault the customer service. I highly recommend it and will return for a meal.

Very nice meal, didnt have to wait long and for my son's 21st birthday it was great. He chose the venue and was very happy.

Fantastic service and the banquet for three was not only delicious , it came out so fast we will definately be coming back again .

After making a booking over a week in advance our reserved table was a poky thing leaning up against the cash register desk. WE asked to move which they happy to accommodate. We sat outside as we had requested. Orders were taken quickly and food arrived in a timely manner. Never once were we offered any drinks, strange !!

great alfresco dining with plenty of atmosphere. we were very happy that the kids meals were served up very quickly and pretty good quality. had a great night.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Simple, but so full of flavour :) Portion sizes was also very generous! Customer service could be warmer, but was not unfriendly! Overall, would definitely come again :)

Food as always was perfect. The only criticism is our waitress never smiled and didn't seem happy. We eat there often and never had a problem.

Food was delicious. Had the Lamb Gyros Plate. Our waiter helped us get our food early as a one of our guests had to leave early. He was fantastic.

Reversations were easily through Quandoo, service was pleasant and food was great. All in all a enjoyable night out with friends with no complains. Thank you

I booked a day before on line and I realized the place was all booked up for a weekday night and yet the service was great no waiting hours on end for the food to be served and the dishes were delicious.

The food was good, but the service was slow. Not quite as good as the previous time we went though. Lovely atmosphere, but for Melbourne quite warm, 32oC at 9.00 p.m.

THERE IS YUMMY FOOD FOLOOWED BY GREECK MUSIC PALYED IN BACKGROUND, LOVELY PEOPLE AND THE FOOD PORTION WAS SATISFACTION. THE PRICE ARE RESEONABLE . OVERALL IT IS GREAT RESTAURANT

We booked as a large group of 26 people. The food was delicious, and the service was great. Great value for money. Met Me is a must!

Excellent food excellent service for such a busy night you can always count on meat me if you don't have a table booked they will always fit you in will never turn you down

we were greeted with cool water and ice which was very nice. The meat was delicious, and there was lots of it. The bread was cut small so it was hard to get much meat onto the bread so had a lot of meat but not enough bread. the waitress didn't listen to us properly and didn't get our order right. the food came out very quickly and sadly the chips were cold as they had obviously been prepared earlier and really not nice at all. the overall experience was good. thankyou.

Meat me is perfect for families with young kids. The service is efficient and the food is served FAST. The food is great and reasonabley priced. However it is very loud inside, the music makes it nearly impossible to hold a conversation and this does detract from the experience.

Food was delish, however, the surly/no-care attitude of a waitress spoiled our birthday get-together. We decided to have our dessert elsewhere. Disappointing attitude towards guests by this person.

We arrived at Meat Me at 6.30pm. Were seated and served water and given menus. Then we waited and waited and waited to be served. There were at least 5 floor staff, none of which looked in our direction as we tried to get their attention that we were ready to order. Two males stood behind the bar/coffee machine observing the restaurant floor, neither of them looked at all interested in attending to our table or requesting floor staff to attend our table. We finally got someone's attention and said we were ready to order, she acknowledged, went to another table and never came back to ours. We had 4 children under 11 in our group, we were hungry and thirsty. We ended up walking out and going for dinner at another great Greek restaurant up the road, Big thumbs down to Meat Me.

Awesome souvlakis best in town! We had lamb and hey we're delicious. They use real meat, and fresh ingredients. The pita bread is awesome too. Great food keep it up!!! We are regulars!

Food very tasty, excellent service, we will be back it was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. We enjoyed hearing the waiters sing along with the music.

Excellent tasting food, generous portions for a very reasonable price. Service was very quick and efficient. Vibe in the restaurant and surrounding precinct was electric. Very rewarding experience. Have already recommended to others who have already been to see and taste for themselves. Good online booking system. However we were disappointed that only one card from the Entertainment Book was allowed. As we were a party of four, we brought two cards and were only allowed to use one of them. The EB system is a bit misleading.

Best souvlaki and atmosphere in Melbourne. Choice of meats and fillings and drinks list has something for every one. Can sit in doors or outside.

Delicious Greek dishes. I can recommend the meat platter and saganaki. However their air conditioning needs to be more efficient. It was incredibly hot in the restaurant.

Great food and prices, backed up by how busy it was on a Monday night. But if a wait for food but well worth it. Noisy but you can hear each other still. Overall, definitely going back again and trying more on their menu.

GREAT food, but WAY too much of it in the banquet. If we had half the meat that was served it still would have been enough. Lovely staff though, very polite and helpful on a very busy day. Would definitely go back.

The food was very nice, especially the lamb was very juicy. The service was also very fast. We all enjoyed a very good night out.

The food was quite good, however, the service was not up to standard, quite lay back, back ground music too loud we could not hear each other speak

So So - meat quality ok - not exceptional - service ok - very loud inside almost to a point we cant hear ourselves, over all average.. nothing bad - nothing exceptional

The food was fabulous as usual! But the staff weren't very friendly. We weren't acknowledged when we arrived having a number off staff just walk straight passed us, we also had to ask several times for our drink and meal orders to be taken. I don't think one staff member ever cracked a smile until the $300 bill was paid.
