Had yum cha for 6 pax. Had the wait about 20 mins for some items to be served despite repeated requests. Average quality and service. Pricing considered expensive. Not highly recommended.

We all enjoyed all of the courses ordered. Good that the courses were staggered. Staff were helpful and obliging when numbers booked were reduced and later than expected. Thanks for a good night

Good service Tasty dishes. However, 1 would prefer that the dishes came out more slowly, rather than 4 or 5 arriving at the same time.

It was the first time we had tried this one. Great food and good value. A bit too eager on the table clearing the night we were there, but very nice meals and polite staff.

Very friendly staff e.g wait for me to take photos of dim sum before cutting them for us to share, helpful in telling us what those dim sum are. Most of the dim sum taste good. To my surprise that apart from traditional dim sum, we found modified cute dim sum

Food was very good. For a restaurant of this nature meaning being a Fast flowing food service on wheels within a restaurant, the service was very good. staff were attentive and polite.

Not enough variety at the same time..all fried foods 1st then steamed last. Some deserts in the middle of our yum cha dining time. It's changed a lot in the last few visits. And stuck in a corner with other tables of three people or less where food trolleys could not access trying to understand what the staff were saying was available.

The food is second to none. The service is great. Good value for the quality of the food. The honey prawns are divine and the Cantonese beef was superb.

Mei Jing is our go to Yum Cha restaurant. A fabulous range of well prepared dishes. The squid tentacles were a hit at our table.

Very large chinese restaurant in the suburbs. Seems to be popular for weekend yum cha. Like all yum cha places it's fast and furious and I wouldn't expect anything less.

Food is good. Good environment. The location is not so far from my house in Glen Waverley. I am hoping to come back to the restaurant again.

Great for kids and the food was all good. Only criticism was difficulty understanding the waiters and finding out all the options. Obviously will have to return to try new things.

Good customer service. Yum Cha lacked its usual variety which was dissapointing. Several dishes were served luke warm, almost cold. Perhaps we should have gone to the first sitting.

It is very easy to book. Also it is very convenient without the hassle of waiting on the phone. Another plus is that you can book anytime even after hours.

Waiting for the seat. Rush at serving, feel they're insisting the food to put on the table. taste oily on the fried food. Might have calculation to get around $20 per person.

The staff were friendly and courteous and attentive. Food was enjoyable and plenty of it. They good the time to explain the menu when queried about what was in the sauces and food. I would recommend Mei Jing to other people.

I booked myself and my family for a later Yum Cha session thinking we would be able to spend quality time together over Christmas. Whilst the food was delicious, I found that the food came out too fast and seemingly all at once. After a mere 45 minutes the waiters started cleaning up signalling, and the food trolleys stopped coming. I would prefer to have a relaxed sitting rather than such.a rushed sitting. I will not be coming back, and will be recommending to my family to not come back either.

Food was OK, service was woeful! Waiter was rude and ignored our multiple requests to place both beverage and food orders. Although we all ordered similar noodle dishes they did not come out together. We also felt very pressured to "leave now" once we had finished our meals despite our group wanting to chat and catch-up with each other. We decided our next catch-up will NOT be at MeiJing

One of our favourite Chinese restaurants for many years. Went as a group of eight. Ordered eleven dishes to share from soups to mains. Really tasty food- each flavour of dish was different and stood out. Would recommend the Bbq pork with shichuan sauce-was the hit on our table. Good quantities as well. Price a little expensive - but it was worth it. Not your typical Chinese restaurant where your dishes are fully loaded with garlic, ginger & msg thank goodness! Dishes came out pretty quick after the order is placed. Only negative - maybe more staff is required especially on a Saturday night as the place was full so getting service needs a bit of patience. Book from before to avoid waiting in the line. Would I still go back -YES for sure!

This is my second visit. The food was excellent and service great. Pricing reasonable and atmosphere authentic. Many Chinese people were eating here which I think is a reflection of the quality.

We were a table of 9 and food came out too quick at the start. There was no room on the table for more dishes as we had 2-3 of the same thing due to having 9 people at the table. We told the trolley ladies we needed to order when they come round again. But they never did come back with the same offerings. The next time they came round was with sweets and dessert when we would have loved to order more savoury. That was lost business for them and us feeling unsatisfied with the choices. We felt rushed at the start but were not pushed to leave for the second seating. The food was great but felt the 2 seatings did not work for us as we were a big group.
