Food was very ordinary. They need to ditch contactless ordering very difficult with a large group trying to order food and beverages. If waiter's have to deliver orders they might as well take the order as well. It is a restaurant not a bar.

The food was dreadful. Bland and tasteless. Really disappointing. The high tables aren't big enough for banquet meals that just keep coming one after the other without a break. And we decided to try and use the QR code to order. Each of us got charged a $20 service fee. Are you kidding? For five of us, the service fee was $62. We walked to the cocktail bar and ordered. What a waste - and rort to have that level of surcharge. No one did anything for that charge. Wouldn't go again.

Upon arrival we were seated in the bar area not the restaurant- we were eventually reseated in the restaurant as I’d requested. I’d requested the restaurant as we were with children and a bar was not appropriate. My children were calm, sitting with us to eat and then on the floor to do coloring. At times they walked across the path in the same way many people were walking through the restaurant to purchase drinks from the bar. They were calm and at no point “out of control” as a waitstafff member snapped to another table. due to my son being on part of the walking path. If an adult had been in his path would he have said the same thing? I would have been ok to accept this had it not been for the experience of the staff throughout our service. Each time a plate was delivered to our table the staff were annoyed there was limited space to place the sharing plate. There was nothing on the table except the plates and glassware provided in the service. At one point we removed wine glasses to only have to source our own once we purchased wine. The staff made little effort to clear used plates to make space and we had to put finished plates on the floor as more food arrived. When we asked a waitstaff to take empties she was disgruntled at the request. The same staff member was even less helpful when I asked for a fork, rudely telling me to get it from the service table myself which was in a far corner and not clearly identifiable as such. At the end of the meal when I asked about the way we were spoken to I was again looked at rudely and then told we’ll speak to the manager - so I said sure if that what you suggest. The manager proceeded to tell me the staff were stressed. I am so sorry you are unable to run a service where your staff are not stressed, please ensure your staff can work in an environment that is stress managed so as a customer I am not made to feel as though ordering food is being unreasonable. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every dish. It is a pity that the interactions with every staff member serving food could not match the standard of the food being served.

We had the best time! Such great location! Beachfront and you could even her the ocean. Drinks and food was amazing!

Hi guys, the venue is lovely but I think you need a more effective way of cooling it. It felt really stuffy in our area by the bar, as if more windows needed to be opened (except there weren't any)/ceiling fans would help in lieu of AC. Also, the bar tenders didn't know how to make some of the cocktails on the menu and had to remake ours twice at the bar.

The place is beautiful, the food was very good, I just thought it was small, the sound was a little loud, overall I liked it and would rate it 8

Very busy and noisy. Booked early in advance hoping to get a table outside. This didn’t happen. The line at the bar was very long and slow.

Couldn’t really get food at glass house so we went downstairs to Hotel Steyne.

Terrible customer service. Told wrong info ordering then got apology when too late. No kids option on menu. No roast dinner. Food ordered average.

The food was great, kudos to the chef! Music was good! In terms of service from front of house, not as attentive as we’d have expected, but the food made up for it.

Falsely advertised happy hour on website. Staff were friendly but did nothing to appease the issue. Phone did not connect prior to booking. Lovely space but overall unimpressed with how staff dealt with the problem.

The glasshouse has great style and decor, comfortable seating arrangements and ideal for big groups. The kitchen and service however let us all down... noone to seat us, limited staff around for most of our stay (unless hoovering around the kitchen chatting counts). The food was so poorly made and arrived very late, if at all! We ordered a basic 4 ingredient salad which took 45 minutes which presented a massive ball sack of an Octopus head, something of which that would require a steak knife if you were brave enough to eat!! We ended up with more refund receipts than purchased ones.

Our table was placed next to a DJ booth and it was far too loud!!

Lovely, great little view from top balcony Just felt food selection could have had more on offer and kitchen closed a little to early.

Great atmosphere and yummy cocktails. Perfect place for a catch-up
